I purchased this system in October 2018. I immediately noted that the instructions are terrible. I requested better instructions from the seller so they sent me copies of exactly what I already had. I've watched every You Tube video on DMX and had 3 people with some knowledge of these systems try to help me get it set up and running. It's now April 2019 and I still can't get it going. Don't waste your money. Spend a few extra bucks for a better system from a reputable manufacturer.UPDATE - I'M UPDATING MY REVIEW AND ADDING 4 STARS. THE SELLER WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. THEY CONTACTED ME IMMEDIATELY. WE EMAILED BACK AND FORTH WITH INFO RE MY PROBLEMS AND THEY DETERMINED THE CONTROLLER AND SEVERAL LIGHT FIXTURES WERE FAULTY. THEY IMMEDIATELY OFFERED TO SEND OUT REPLACEMENT PARTS. THE NEW EQUIPMENT ARRIVED TODAY AND WORKS PERFECTLY. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE STILL TERRIBLE AND I ENCOURAGED THEM TO IMPROVE THEM. BEYOND THAT, I'VE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT DMX FROM FRIENDS AND YOU TUBE THAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH SYSTEM IN A LIVE SITUATION. I RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM WITHOUT RESERVATION AND WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SELLER ANYTIME. THEY'RE EXCELLENT.

I purchased the CO-Z LED Stage Lights DMX, 8 pcs 18x3W RGB Par Can Lights Package with Remote Controller, and I am extremely impressed with their performance. These lights are simply fantastic and have completely transformed the atmosphere in my church. The range of colors and effects is outstanding, and the remote controller makes it easy to customize the lighting to suit the mood or theme. The build quality is GREAT for the price, and the lights are bright and vibrant, adding a professional touch to any stage setup. I recommend these LED stage lights BUT, yes, there is a BUT, BUT do know that there's is a learning curve. It works well, but you need to dedicate some time to learning how to use it.

Board:Great board. Controls many different types of lights.Lights:Not as bright as some other or cans but good for wall wash or close up lighting. Not recommended for distance lighting like say mounting on a light bar on the ceiling of a stage. Still great for the price though. Great for backlighting.

These are made of plastic and the lighting is not very bright. We needed them for a small stage area (about 20 feet wide and 12 feet deep). One light was faint. I immediately sent them back. It’s a great idea to have everything in one package, but I wish there was another option with professional quality lights. I’d pay for better quality.

Overall I listed 3 stars and 4 for value. The controller seems to have the same features and control layout as most others I have seen. The par lights that come in this set feel a little cheap but I expected that from the price. They do work and the light output seems ok. It would be nice if they had the ability to daisy chain the power from one par light to the next the same way the dmx cables do. The set came with the brackets to mount the lights and cables for the dmx connection between the lights.My biggest any only real issue with the system is the lack of setup instructions. There was nothing to start from. After several YouTube videos and reading some information I found on the internet I am starting to get them to function as I want. There are several other settings on the lights I skip past because I'm not sure what they do. While I'm making use of them i am still likely missing out on some functionality they offer. This is the reason I lowered the number of stars to 3.The seller emailed the instructions to me after request. They were for the controller only.If you are new to DMX they may not be real clear. There are several YouTube videos on this controller and others that look exactly the same to show how to set it up. Still did not get anything for the light heads. Have not found the same heads on any videos. Requested instructions for them from seller have gone back and forth with them with out any instructions. They told me to set them as instructed then send a video to show the problem. Hard to set as instructed when the whole request is asking for instructions.I have dropped to 2 stars due to poor customer service. I will continue to update the review and rating as it develops.It took a lot of back and forth but I did get the instructions for the PAR lights. They show what the different settings are for. Now after seeing several videos on the different DMX functions I think having this will allow me to set them up correctly. I set some quick address settings on them and connected to the controller they will change with it. There is a channel for brightness, red, green, blue, one that revolves through the color wheel, a strobe function. I have raised my star rating back up to 3.

First, this worked great and was easy to use if you understand how DMX works. It would have been nice if they had a terminating plug in the package but they are easy enough to get. The instructions, as most have said, are terrible. I found another single page in the box that was the option guide for the lights. At the bottom of that page is a QR code for the most updated instructions. It gave me a pdf that was clearly written by an English speaker and was 20 pages of very detailed instructions for both the controller and the lights. Very nice. I almost didn't scan that QR code. Glad I did.

It took me a while to digest the full feature list and their administration, but I'm excited by the possibilities as O get set to install and configure the system.

This product can work well but ultimately wont be a long term - commercial grade product. The DMX ports are already a bit touchy. There's a huge learning curve to learn now to program the banks, sequences and scenes. Let along setting the par cans individually. But it ultimately works.
