It's great.
Mine arrives tomorrow, I will update as I get to use it, I rate it five stars as I have the 45 degree 1.25 inch that came with the 70mm Celestron Travel scope. If the 90 degree version matches the quality of the 45 degree version, it's going to be great. Will Update after I get the chance to evaluate it. Update: Got the Diagonal eyepiece delivered today as promised, still sticking with the five star rating. In fact it is superior in quality, to the 45 degree item that came with my Travel Scope, in that it is all metal construction on the outside, and gives every bit as good of performance as the 45 degree version.

A good prism type diagonal for the price.
I have found a prism diagonal can be a good option over a mirror type, IF: A. You are looking for better contrast in viewing subtle details on Jupiter and some other objects, AND, B. Your telescope f ratio is equal or higher than f/7. This diagonal is good, but it is not unusual for the optical alignment to be a little off, as mine was. I was able to unscrew the back and push the prism into a better alignment, not perfect but good enough. It can get expensive to find a better one. I do have a correct image diagonal that is a little better, but it has an aperture stop that limits low power, wide field views. I recommend this diagonal.

Good quality for the price
I expected less because I didn’t really care about replacing this for my sons telescope, but it’s way better quality than I expected.

Does the job nicely.
Not a several hundred dollars item, but works well. Mirror seems clear, decent quality. Not bad. Good enough I got a couple.

A must have
It offers a crystal clear view of whatever is in the sky. It’s made of metal, and its installation is very easy. additional accessories such as eyepieces are easily added onto the diagonal with no problem. One of the greatest purchases ever!

Celestron 1.25" Star Diagonal
This Celestron diagonal is better than the diagonal that came with my kit.

Star diagonal does the job
The Celestron 90 Degree Star Diagonal gives me a comfortable angle to view distant objects. It is made from light but durable metal and fits well. If you are adjusting the eyepiece in darkness be carefull not to twist the base as the screws can easily give way. I have not had any problem with screws breaking, but they are not strong enough to handle much resistance.

and it will give a mirror like image, erect but reversed left to right. And the housing seems made of plastic and not "Magnesium". But as a mirror diagonal it produces a very good image, noticeably better than the standard Prism delivered with Celestron C6 SCT.

Both for my Celestron C5, to be used in place of the 45 degrees unit that comes with the scope, for astronomy viewing. It's well made and I don't really feel the need of a dielectric one on such scope. Not for now... at least. It's well made, no complains.
