I buy an Alison Gardiner advent candle every year from Amazon. They are so well made, excellent design and burn really well.

Looks good,yet to light it

Christmas candle perfect

An exciting way of counting down the days in December. I placed it on my dining room table during meal times. It added to the ambiance of the room and we enjoyed lighting it at each meal

This is one of the best advent candles I have ever had, and recommend it. I’m almost half way down and it hasn’t dripped once yet. It’s also quite stout so stands up very well. It does take a couple of hours to burn each day, but that’s nothing excessive.

Love the look of this with little robins, very festive I especially like the fact that it burns for fifty hours

This looks aesthetically Christmassy & burns slowly. We had it on every day for advent. The only thing, when extinguished, it gives off a thick acrid smoke which lingers in the air for ages. Now, we have noticed that all our curtains, walls & windows. Even upstairs are coated with a dark substance. Curtains need washing, windows & walls need scrubbing, it’s everywhere!! We are in a new house, fortunately it’s magnolia & shows up!!! But it’s upstairs. Even the loft hatch is covered?! What have we breathed in? It’s quite concerning? 🤔 I was intending to reorder for next year. I won’t be now! The amount of work for cleaning up after this is horrendous. Never have I encountered such aftermath. It looks as if we have had a fire. Seller is unhelpful & discourteous. Do not buy this candle!!!

Best advent calendar we have ever bought. Burnt down evenly, did not spit out wax on the printed parts. Well worth the money!

Eine sehr schöne Kalenderkerze. Da sie, auf Grund der Dicke, mehr in der Mitte brennt empfehle ich, wenn das Wachs weich ist, ein bisschen mit dem Finger außen runterzudrücken damit auch wirklich die Zahlen runter brennen. Uns jedenfalls gefällt die Kerze supergut.

Se ha consumido completamente de esta manera en un descuido en pocos minutos. La llama es muy grande y sale humo negro al quemar el dibujo de decoración que es de plástico.

I'm not sure why this has such poor reviews. It is a thick candle and as such, takes a while to burn down a number which is what my family loves about it. We light it at dinner time and blow it out before retiring for the evening. I would say 3-4 hours? It is delightful and the children love seeing a physical representation of how close we are getting to Christmas. I absolutely plan to buy this again for this year and every year that I can find it. My candle came in perfect condition and burned well. What a wonderful tradition.
