Specific Fluid for the application
When my 2010 Equinox AWD needed a fluid change at 130K miles I did it myself with Mobil 1 75/90 gear oil. Well, coincidence or not, the transfer case failed about 1500 miles later. The shop that replaced the transfer case said that these do take a specific fluid. I had about 50K miles on the current GM fluid and I changed it today. It was dark but still translucent. The new fluid going in was nice and clear. I'll probably do it again in 30K miles. Car has 182,400 miles on it currently.

Great value
Genuine GM product sold at a very fair price. This was around $15.00. My local garage was quoted $74.00 per bottle by the local GM dealer they use for items like this. I cancelled the job and bought this and did it myself.
