This is a simple picture book and explanation on how to set up wiring as a DIY project. It is so informative I was able to complete my project farm work quickly because of this book

So much information about basic house wiring from simple projects to a complicated projects. Found this guide so useful and interesting with vivid pictures, illustration, and clear instructions.

I liked the thoroughness of the directions. Electricity is seriously strange stuff and this book made it seem much more approachable.That attempt at approachability at times resulted in language that is too casual, and perhaps more difficult for a person for whom English is a second language to fully understand.

HiI looked at several books on wiring before selecting this one. Not to sound like Godilocks, but other books were so basic as to not be useful (I know how electrcity works) or written for a professional (I don't need to know the codes for a new building) this one was just right. I simply want to be able to add some outlets and switches to my existing home, and I found all of the details that were frustrating me in this book.

I found this book to provide the basic information really well with lots of pictures and tips. I think this book provides the common skilled home owner with enough information to handle easy to medium high projects by themselves. There might be some better books out there however I decided to buy and use this one and I am glad I did.

A useful reference from The Home Depot providing the novice with thorough explanations for completing common electrical projects at home. Not only does it reference to topics such as grounding, wire size, and safety, but it also contains well documented photos of devices needed to finish the job, making them recognizable to the beginner. Though not a readers digest condensed version for budding electricians, it is a useful hands-on guide for the do-it-yourselfer.

I'm very happy with this book's information and the fast well packaged delivery. Thank You!

Has what I need

Most of the time I know what to do, but it's nice to have a reference when not 100% sure

It gave me info on the new updates that have been brought out in the last 2 years which is very important to everyone to understanding electrical.
