ordered XL for husband who wears that size in the Chef Works brand. was too small in chest and shoulders. fabric, stitching, quality good but wish it available in larger size.

The quality is there for sure. Whom ever is sizing the coats should be fired. I wear XXL and my 16 yr old wears a large and fit him perfect

I LOVE the way this thing looks! I mean, come on, am I right?? That's really the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. Not 5 stars because of the comfort level. I don't know why chef coats are made to be entirely not stretchy, but that always seems to be the case, so even though it looks great, the combination of the size and material makes for a tight fit. The difference in size between the small and the medium is quite dramatic. I looked like I was swimming in the medium, which I ordered and returned first. Bending at the elbow gets VERY tight because, again, no stretchy. My measurements are as follows: shoulders 45", chest 39.5", waist 32" In conclusion, if it fits just right, this coat looks fantastic! But it's not super comfortable to move around in, unless it's a looser fit.
