The quality is amazing! I was hesitant to go sort of off-brand from the major, more well-known (more expensive) brand, but this was the third set I have purchased of the ShapeMags brand. They keep my 3 year old busy, even my 7 year old can stay occupied for a relatively long time. We love these ShapeMags and will likely buy some more in the fun shapes sets.

We have enjoyed Playmags and needed additional magnets pieces. We decided to get Magnetic Stick N Stack car set because it came with 3 car bases, which our kids like. It is compatible with Playmags. The car bases and square tiles of Stick N Stack are a bit bigger. Magplay car base can be connected to Stick N Stack car base with its female connector (but not male connector.)The only flaw is that all our pieces are red in color. Wished pieces in multiple colors were included.Overall, I am very happy with this set.

All the free-standing wheels broke within a day, and one of the wheels that are attached broke within a few days. We don't expect the rest to last much longer. Very disappointing.UPDATE: After posting this review I was contacted by the company and they sent me a new improved version of this set. The new one is of much higher quality (it has held up for a couple of months so far) and is a great toy.

These are great. They fit perfectly with the more expensive name brand tiles -- I literally cannot tell the difference, except that this set comes with some shapes that the brand doesn't make. I only have a few small complaints: 1. Some of the larger tiles only have magnetic connections around the outside of the perimeter rather than running down the middle, which can make it harder to build stable structures; 2. Some of the pieces are quite small (e.g. the wheels) and if you lose or misplace any of them it limits what you can build; and 3. The little yellow plastic people are strange looking and cheap-feeling. These are small issues, though. Overall it's a great set for the money. I won't be wasting any more $ on the pricey boutique brand.

My 3 year old grandson loves these. They're great for young kids who don't have good motor skills because if they get the parts close together, the magnets pull them where they need to be and keep them there. Makes it so much easier and less frustrating for young children.

My son loves playing with our fridge magnets so we thought these would be a hit for his 3rd birthday. Understatement of the year! They were a huge success! He hasn't played with anything else since receiving them 2 weeks ago. I love that they don't have sharp edges so he can use them unsupervised. I also love that they are pretty much indestructible- there is no damage to them when my 7 month old gets a hold of them.

my 5 year old loves these. Very cute and fun to create. I purchased these because they had little people with them and wheels which is what my son wanted. The quantity is very good and there is quite a bit you can do with them. I do with they came with more picture ideas. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.
