SiruiPH-Series Carbon Fiber Gimbal Head (PH-30)

I couldn't be happier with this Gimbal Head. It's lightweight, strong and very easy to use. It's made my wildlife and bird photography a delight and taken so much of the effort out of the process. It's allowed me to capture scenes and move with the subject in a way I couldn't before with just a tripod. I couldn't do without it now.

I purchased this for 2 reasons. One the weight and the other is the brand name since I Sirui. The pro on this that it is very strong and works well. Setting the tension is easy so adjustable movement is fine. It is larger than the one I had before. I put a canon 100-400 with a extender and it handled weight well I am sure something like a 500 or 600 lensWorks well. It moves smoothly enough for close up bee photography. The lack of a star is that I have to open the clamp holding the camera wider than the clamp on the camera. I was hoping this worked like the tripod where it slides in and locks. To release it I just loosen a bit and push the pin on the tripod to release the camera. This headDoesn’t work that way from what I have discovered. It you need to carry this alot, the lighter weight is worth me keeping it

Super impressed with this. It’s built well and strong. Feels like the durability of metal but better.

Salve ho appena acquistato la testa gimbal della Sirui ph-30,volevo sapere se le manopole della frizione aprendole frizionano gradualmente perché la mia sembrerebbe di no in chiusura e ben serrato, quando vado Ad aprire appena già si muove andando fino a fine corsa e la fluidità mi sembra che non varia è normale?poi la manopola quella del braccio quando è aperta a un movimento che non mi convince girando mi sembra che non gira sullo stesso asse si muove elicoidale.
