Very functional and consistent technical pens.
Normally not a big fan of rotring designs: I've had many issues with their other products. However, the isographs work really well. Pen point is very smooth and consistent, cap seals very well (I've left a pen for 1.5 months without use, and it still writes immediately afterward), and it holds a good amount of ink (can use pigmented fountain pen ink, such as deAtramentis or Platinum Carbon Black). I've stocked up on these, since technical pens are going out of production.

rOtaring. Draw with style
Perfect. To be honest, it’s been a while since I drew with rOtaring…. It’s like having an old friend. So, yeah 100/100

Novelty Items and it works well
I am collecting two things, pens and watches. This is a novelty item and reminding me of my set from when I was in high school. Few years ago, I had a hard time trying to buy this pen on Amazon and I can only find them from a bidding site. I was overjoyed that I can buy this pen now on Amazon. Rotring makes great quality pens and I owned a variety of the technical drawing pens and also their fountain pens. All of them are working to the standard that I am expecting out of Rotring. Note: If you are not used to writing/using technical drawing pens, then this pen is not your daily use pen. If you press a little too hard, you will ruin the small needle and making it unusable or worse bending the needle.

Very poor quality
Very poor quality. I draw stippling and I am not fully confident this pen won't leak in my art. Cannot take pen fully apart to clean shaft and needle for storage. Not worth the money I paid. This pen is worth $10 at most.

Great pen for detailed line work
I think this is the kind of pen, you either love it or you hate it. I love it, but it is not without upkeep. Occasionally I forget about it for a couple of weeks, so I just run the tip under warm water and it comes back to life.

Works like it's supposed to
Had to straighten the pin/nib insert thing when I filled it for the first time, but it's working just like my Kohinoors, so no complaints.

Superb instruments
I bought my set of pens 45 years ago as an apprenticed draughtsman, unfortunately I lost my 0.35mm and it had ink in it. It has been salvaged and back to the normal standard but I bought a replacement for an urgent task. First, Rotring are no longer made in Germany but still charge German prices. The quality has changed, not for the good of the instrument. Ink reservoirs no longer have chrome bands to strengthen them, the new ones will not be usable in 45 years and the plastic is a lower quality and poorer feel. When I bought my set in 1980 it cost me 2 weeks pay which caused murder at home as I had to pay a weeks keep extra in advance and another in arrears and go a week with no money to myself. It was a requirement so I had no choice,16 year olds today would be screaming at how unfair it was whilst I was happy I had a trade. You must clean them in diluted Rotring cleaner fluid every 6-8 weeks depending upon upon usage, daily 8 whilst now and again 6 weeks, soak and rinse then dry and back to work or storage. NEVER STORE THEM WITH INK IN, I was lucky mine were German engineering the new Chinese might not be so good but I will not be able to let you know in 45 years.
