We had a houseful of out of town guests over the holidays who are all big salad eaters with the multiple dinners we served. I set up several deep bowls with salad fixins' that I was able to cover and bring out the next day, which helped tremendously in terms of prepping ahead. It worked great, but the bowls took up a bunch of valuable real estate in the frig.- on a holiday - which provided the ultimate refrigerator Jenga challenge. So, I then searched for a better solution. We ordered these containers and I'm telling you - this will be a game changer, for sure!! The plastic isn't super heavy, but heavy enough - - so you will have to be careful not to crack out the lids when removing the lid. I washed the inserts in the dishwasher on the top rack and they came out perfectly clean. My only complaint is the piece of plastic lip on the lid is very shallow (the piece that allows you to grab ahold of the lid to remove the lid easily) and it is VERY hard to remove the lid when it is seated tightly to the base. But knowing this, we will just have to be extra careful not to force it too hard when removing. I would think that an older person would have a VERY hard time, if not impossible, removing these lids. My 81-year-old father-in-law could not do it. The lids need a larger corner piece on either side that protrudes out more to be able to get your fingers under it in order to pull the lid up safely. Great containers nonetheless, but just need a lid re-design. We paid $26.49 and it included (2) sets with 6 inserts total. I would definitely purchase again and would highly recommend these containers. They are exactly like the pics.

I received these today. This could be such an amazing product however, when they arrived today and I opened the box it was delivered in, one of the lids was broken on the edge. I had read many of the reviews saying the same thing but chose to ignore them as it looked such a great idea. By rights I should be sending them back, however they fit beautifully in the refrigerator. They are a perfect length and height for the shelf and we are expecting company for dinner tonight. All the taco sides are in their own individual separate containers and will be super easy to refill if needed. One of the lids was fine but I will use the other without a lid due to it being broken. Brilliant idea but very disappointed with the lid situation.

I have two of these containers and I love them. They're perfect for cutting snacking fruit for my toddler. I love that we can remove the individual containers etc. They fit underneath my lowest shelf in my fridge so they save me a ton of space. Super happy with these. So far they have held up very well in my dishwasher as well, no warping of the containers as I have found happened in the past with different styles of containers. I don't use a heated dry setting and just air dry my dishes so I'm not sure they would hold up to a heated dry cycle.

We eat a lot of sandwiches but the mess all the containers made in the fridge was ridiculous. I've tried to wrangle the cheese and meat packages in different types of tubs but someone would always miss a zipper closure (I have three kids making sandwiches) and cutting up one tomato at a time kinda stinks when you're really hungry after school... These are fantastic. The lid on top is really tight, which is good, and the individual tubs can be taken out, cleaned, and replaced without having to deal with any smaller lids inside. This is a full 48oz jar of pickle chips (minus some juice), five Roma tomatoes, a bag of shredded cabbage, four bell peppers, two and a half packages of sliders deli cheese, and a pound of Land o Lakes ham. There's room for more. There was no gross plastic smell, they clean easily, and three will fit next to each other in my side by side whirlpool fridge.

These are fantastic containers!! I was looking for square/rectangle containers to keep fresh fruits and vegetables in the fridge, ready for snacking any time. These are perfect! Each box has three sections and each section is quite large. I can fit two pint packages of blueberries or a pound of baby carrots in one. I fill these 1-2 times per week and my kids always have a healthy snack readily available anytime they are hungry! The only “con” is the handle does not seem sturdy enough when the container is completely full and heavy—I simply use my second hand to support it on the side or bottom as I remove it from the fridge and carry it to the table.

Perfect size and shape to keep in the fridge with our rotating assortment of ready to grab fruits and veggies. I can wash and refill individual containers as the contents get eaten (because the bell pepper slices always disappear before the celery sticks!). Especially handy for packing lunches in the morning when prep time is at a minimum. The whole box can come to the table for snack or meal time without juggling multiple produce bags or berry boxes. Love them!

I love the concept of this storage set. I read the reviews about the lid being hard to get off and dismissed them bc people said they had weak hands. The problem is, there is no tab to grab to get the lid off. You have to wedge your fingernail in between the lid and work your way out to get the lid off and give a pretty good tug to remove the lid. If your plan is to put dry loose ingredients inside the compartments, you will unsettle the contents and mix the ingredients. This defeats the purpose and need for the storage in my case. I'm sad to return. Anyone with arthritic hands will want to avoid this item as well.
