Its soft but still holds its firmness and support for an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much. Size: 0.5" Thick X 24" Wide X 72" Long Density: 1.5 / Cubic Foot 100% Recovery Rate Fire Retardant 33lb Compression COMPRESSION = FIRMNESS Compression (not density) is what determines firmness. If you don't want a cushion that's hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, you have to check the compression or ILD number. Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 35 lbs. to pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 35 lb. compression rating or ILD -Indention Load Deflection. Uses : Ideal for oval and round poker tables, furniture cushions, boat cushions, car cushions, foam mattresses, bedding support, and all other home and commercial upholstery applications. I thought thicker would be better and bought 2 6"
I was using this to make bunk bed mattresses for our camper. I thought thicker would be better and bought 2 6". This is very rigid and didn't even move when laid on, so if anyone is planning to use for a mattress, I ended up cutting one in half and using 2 - 3 inch pieces. I had ordered 2, so I experiemented by first only cutting to 4", 4" was also very rigid. The foam came by the date posted and was well packed.

Best foam pad ever
I have never seen a better quality foam pad in my life. I got it as a replacement mattress for a loveseat with a hide a bed and was concerned it would not be firm enough. But it worked perfectly. I would recommend this product. It is worth the price

Great product for horse trailer beds.
We bought this foam to make beds in our horse trailer. Very sturdy, comfortable, and holds anyone. Easy to cut.

Did not receive what i paid for
Product was late which is understandable due to current world issues but i only received one of 2 that i paid for. I have not received any response from the seller on where the other item is or what is going on. The major issue, other than not getting what i paid for, is projects have been held up and are still being held up.
