Has anyone had any luck getting a refund on this.

I got one, straight away from amazon

Will it work in fortnite party and game chat. With people who don’t have an Xbox

It does. As long as they have in game audio!

Why doesnt it work when I plug it in to my controller

Ensure the mic settings are on within the settings in your console. Also make sure you’re not muted on the button of the mic headset or turned down too low. If all thus is ok, you may have a faulty pair. Mine were perfect so I gave no issues with the quality at all.

Does this headset come with the adapter

Ignore Laura S. Yes the headset comes with the adapter attached which you plug into your Gamepad
