Value for money...for beginners.
Just the right one to view birds/animals when on a trip. Ofcourse for beginners.....right weight, right finish, right quality.PENTAX stands upto its name.We had great views on a recent tiger safari.

Sharp picture
The good: Sturdy build. Sharp picture. Easy to focus. Good quality. The bad: carry case has no strap of its own. Eye covers are also not attached to string so have to be very careful about keeping them properly when binocs are in use.

Good resolution and comparatively easy to use
Used this during our recent trip to Africa. A bit heavy on the shoulder but I suppose most comparable products will have similar weight. Ease of handling and vision clarity are quite good. I tried another costlier product from Nikon brought by a friend , but could not perceive any difference in visual experience, while I felt this one was easier to handle and adjust. Overall a good product. The only minor irritant is that the caps to the lenses are not attached to the body but have to be taken off and stored securely (in one's pocket or bag) while using the equipment. This is certainly a nuisance that could have been easily fixed by the makers

Nice purchase
A very good purchase at a very reasonable rate... very easy to focus...good optics... good build quality..... only issue is with the carry bag...no shoulder sling..ha ha...how to hang?? Anyway would recommend as a very good overall binoculars.

not at all good
quite disappointing. Despite their cost, I encountered several issues with their performance. The optics were not as clear as expected, and the overall build quality felt lacking.

Quality deterioted
As we all know what is Pentax, but when i got the product last week. I was disappointed after seeing the quality. The bag/cover was of very low quality no pentax logo on it, looks like it was purchased in bulk from local store, the lence cover were of just general which is like geeneric manufactured for all type of binoculars. No branding of Pentax on that like we get in nikon or bushnel. The quality of lence cover is also low and may break soon. With this I can conclude what could be the quality of actual product when the company is not ready to spend on the safety of their own product. Suggest the manufacturer to look in to it soon.

Good Value
Great value. I use them for bird watching in my neighborhood and they work well. They are nice and bright.Just wish their lens caps were attached like Bushnell’s, its much easier for a quick viewing and they aren’t misplaced. Bushnell’s adjustment for eyeglasses is much better but these are still very good optics for the price

A pleasant binocular to use (8x40)
Feels good in the hand a looks good. Focus is precise. Resolution is very good. A little of the tunnel vision effect going on but still a wide view. Diopter adjustment could be a little stiffer for my taste but after using the binocular for a total of several hours the adjustments have stayed put ( I put a small dot with a marker ( Q tip with a little alcohol can remove the the dot) so if the diopter adjust does get moved I will know it and can quickly go back to were it needs to be for my eyes. The binocular does have some heft to it so not a light weight. Holds very steady. Lense caps go on and off without trouble but dont fall off easily. Binocular at its best for careful use, I would not use for the tough conditions of hunting ( rain, bad weather, nocks and bumps etc). Manual says water proof but implies not extremy so, good enough I believe that it will not allow fugus on inner lense over the years. External focus mechanism so dont put large amount of pressure on the diopter barrels, might not hurt it or cause the need for readjustment though. I have several expensive binoculars but I really like these, glad I made the purchase. Something about the porro prism binocular make them best to look through, just not as compact as the roof prism design to pack and carry around.

Compacte, lumineuse, superbe
Modele 8x40.

Peccato altrimenti sarebbe davvero eccellente.
