Panasonic Portable AM/FM Radio, Battery Operated Analog Radio, AC Powered, Silver (RF-2400D)

Just starting using this product. I like the fact that it’s small and portable and am able to use as a plug in or battery mode. The dial in works great and the speaker is clear and loud considering its compact size, over all I am pleased with the quality for the lower price point.

I used this radio at a drive-in theater and it performed well and gave me great audio quality and clarity. The ability to be able to run this radio via the power cord or batteries is great. Easy to use the tuning knob to find your correct station with a red light that illuminates to let you know it's tuned in properly. Easy and simple radio from Panasonic. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended!

Purchased and like this product right out of the box. Reminds me of the good quality of radios back in the day. Not like that crappy other radio I purchased on Amazon that was so bad I literally, threw in the trash. The radio signals come in loud and clear with no tinny sound at all. Tuning accuracy works well in AM and FM modes. Can plug in and will work on 4 AA batteries though I have not tried running off batteries yet. I bought the black one over the silver one as it looked more uniform in the photos. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Great speaker sound quality. Plus, clarity of stations (tuning accuracy). It's well worth the price. I just ordered a 2nd one. Hurry before they run out of stock or stop making this quality radio. Panasonic definitely lives up to its name brand reputation with this radio.

I wanted to use this for one for some time before writing a review. This is one of my favorite purchases in recent memory. In summary: EXCELLENT sound quality and reception, super simple to use, AC or Battery operation, sturdy. 1. The speaker is large, clear, and has good balance between treble, mid range, and bass output. 2. The sound is clear and crisp with no background hum or static type noise. 3. The reception is absolutely great, it locks in the stations. I have not used AM much, but FM is a joy. Good antenna. 4. Simple as can be: a switch that goes from Off to FM to AM, a tuning knob, a volume wheel. 5. The ac adapter has no transformer on the end so it must be built in, I like that. 6. Has an earphone jack which I have never used since I bought this for the excellent speaker. 7. I ran it on 4 AA batteries during a power outage and it was great to have local radio. 8. I love the fact it does not have push buttons or LCD screens - they ALWAYS fail on items like this for me. 9. This is OLD school design meets high quality radio tuner and speaker. 10. You should have one like this for power outages or park/beach use. 11. I recommend not using or storing with batteries in it but keep them somewhere you know when there is an outage since the batteries can leak over time. 12. I love that this is not made in China but in Indonesia - a great bonus for me. This is a great radio! I am very satisfied with I. I was looking to replace my 30 year old Emmerson. This Panasonic has a detachable electric cord so you don't have to fold it up and tuck it inside the radio when you are using batteries. I am just pleased with this radio,sounds great and receives a lot of stations

I ordered this and put batteries in it right away. We had a power outage 2 weeks later so I could save my cell phones’ battery life and listen to my new radio! Good strong signal and was a good price. Thumbs up!
