Good purchase! I’ve had this light for about 8 months now. It works great. It definitely shows the stuff you wish you didn’t see, but it’s better to know and clean it up! Taking it on vacation soon, which will probably be totally gross, but bringing cleaning supplies too.

Really nice light. Bought this to locate scorpions and it has turned out to be a great help. Has nice illumination and easy to handle.

Great for finding unknown pet spots, places you need to clean around the toilet if you have disgusting boys that don't sit down or pay attention to what they're doing. 🙄 Seems durable, it's been dropped with no issues afterwards. I didn't pay attention to the note that 6AA batteries were needed and that it's not rechargeable so make sure you stock up on batteries to be able to even use it.

This is a super product for detecting fur baby pittles on your floor or carpet. Also great in the bathroom if you have little boys sprinkling all around the toilet. Makes it super easy to see where to clean. I was impressed with the brightness and the charging speed. This product is a good quality build and super functionality. Definitely recommend!

When I used this light in my guest room, I was horrorified! This light is bright enough to work in semi-darkness and strong enough that you should be careful not to point it at anything with eyes. It uses 6 AA batteries, that seems like a lot. I don't know how well this holds a charge because the batteries are still working. I used it almost continuously for 10 to 15 minutes. The light did not get hot in my hand.I have a 17 year old cat who is getting senile and a young dog who must be marking the carpet where there was another dog in the house for a few months. I told my husband not to use the light because he would get upset.I purchased the light because I knew the cat had marked a spot I couldn't find. There was an odor still after I shampooed the little alcove three times and used urine removers. I had already shampooed the room with a vengence. I couldn't see or smell anything in the room, just the alcove.It was dusk outside, so the light was fading, but I could still see to get around in the house. When I shined the light into the alcove I found the source of the smell. It was along and over the baseboard and likely behind it. The carpet on the floor in the alcove did not light up. The urine remover had done its job there.But the room! I felt a weight on my shoulders as the carpet fluoresced and looked like an abstract painting. Pollock would have approved the placements and varied splotches and drops. Too bad I won't be able to take a photograph.I would recommend this black light to anyone who needs to know if and where their pets are going in the wrong places. It is a little expensive and uses 6 batteries at a time, but it does the job. I had another black light a few years ago. The light was so weak that you weren't sure exactly where the fluorescense was.

A decent backlight for the price. It does reveal many carpet stains, both new and old.

We have two little yorkies. Niko and Roxi. Our oldest male is house trained and also goes outside. He is very well behaved. Our little girl Roxi is a different story. She is almost two years old and only weights 3 pounds. Little dog, little bladder. We knew that she was dropping and rocking now and then where ever she felt the need. Her being very young and us always having her in training mode, she sometimes misses the mark. She does not go outside as she is just too little. And she is house trained to go on the pee pad. When she doesn't make the pad she drops right where she is. My wife said we should get one of those black light's to see where she is going when she doesn't make the trip to the pad. WOW did we get more then we asked for....The light is heavy duty and solid to say the least. The lens face is about 3" in diameter. Very large. Takes 6 batteries/double AA. So its very solid and well packaged. That being said its a flashlight that emits a black light. And it is super bright under dark lighting conditions. When we tested it out during the day with lights off it works pretty good but you need to get the light close to the floor. But at night/dark outside and the inside lights off different story. Every think lights up. Tennis shoes, dog toys and more then anything the dreaded dog and cat pee on the carpet and walls. There is no shortage of light that works in the dark. It illuminates everything!!! The big shocker was going into the bathroom with the lights off. You can see where your boys are missing the mark and then some!!!All in all this is a huge value for the money. It works amazingly and will not disappoint. The glasses that came with it, well the jury's out there. I do and don't see the benefit. I put them on during the day and ehh. At night with the lights off I saw better with out the glasses on.
