This light works great! I had a smaller cheap one before buying this and could not find where the pee smell was coming from. This light helped me find it right away. I didn't even have to use special glasses.It also instantly charges glow in the dark stuff too.

Very happy with the product, the quality of the product is amazing and it picks up new stains and old stains, easy to use, power is great, along with visibility along with use , didn’t test if waterproof

Product works though once you start cleaning an area with a wet product the device no longer works on the wet area till it dries. So if you have several stains near each other you will likely need to scan the area multiple times. I do not consider this a defect; it is just something you may encounter.

I love this UV flashlight! It’s the third UV flashlight I have owned and it is by far the best one! The others were weak and didn’t last long. This one has a very wide, bright beam. Have you ever struggled to find where your pet has made a mess? I have many cats and one of them wants to pee where he’s not supposed to. This U V flashlight lets me pinpoint the mess, spray with the pet and stain remover, and throw it in the wash. No more guessing and missing. Even in broad daylight, like in the picture, you’ll see every little mess. Thanks for a great product!

This LED UV Blacklight Flashlite Light detector works everytime to find any Dry or wet Pet- Dog/Cat Urine. I bought this product to detect dog pee around my house. I kept smelling it, but could not tell where it was coming from. This light worked great. The light made finding the spots super easy. However, be prepared to be grossed out. I used it in the bathroom too. Yikes!!! I highly recommend this product. Great price and very durable.

I bought this flashlight because my cat has recently started urinating more outside his litter box and I'm trying to find any spots I was unaware of. I had high hopes, but the results weren't as expected. It's no fault of the product itself. I guess it's just how tv shows make it seem like black lights can pick up all kinds of fluids. I have tried cleaning these urine spots, and they will still show up faintly under the black light. I have hardwood floors and almost everything is the same color, no matter if I use the yellow glasses or not. Also, it will show every single piece of lint on everything you own, so it looks like glitter everywhere. It would be helpful to use as a cleaning tool for the kitchen or bathroom, but specifically for the pet spots, I didn't have much luck even when shining directly on fresh urine or known soiled areas. The cat did urinate down an hvac duct and I used a cleaning product in it. I have included pictures of those results, but I'm unsure if the urine is lit up or the cleaner.

When I used this light in my guest room, I was horrorified! This light is bright enough to work in semi-darkness and strong enough that you should be careful not to point it at anything with eyes. It uses 6 AA batteries, that seems like a lot. I don't know how well this holds a charge because the batteries are still working. I used it almost continuously for 10 to 15 minutes. The light did not get hot in my hand.I have a 17 year old cat who is getting senile and a young dog who must be marking the carpet where there was another dog in the house for a few months. I told my husband not to use the light because he would get upset.I purchased the light because I knew the cat had marked a spot I couldn't find. There was an odor still after I shampooed the little alcove three times and used urine removers. I had already shampooed the room with a vengence. I couldn't see or smell anything in the room, just the alcove.It was dusk outside, so the light was fading, but I could still see to get around in the house. When I shined the light into the alcove I found the source of the smell. It was along and over the baseboard and likely behind it. The carpet on the floor in the alcove did not light up. The urine remover had done its job there.But the room! I felt a weight on my shoulders as the carpet fluoresced and looked like an abstract painting. Pollock would have approved the placements and varied splotches and drops. Too bad I won't be able to take a photograph.I would recommend this black light to anyone who needs to know if and where their pets are going in the wrong places. It is a little expensive and uses 6 batteries at a time, but it does the job. I had another black light a few years ago. The light was so weak that you weren't sure exactly where the fluorescense was.
