Admire Rosemary Crill as a chronicler of Indian textiles. Only, I was disappointed there was no detailing of the various range of textiles in India and their history. However it is a collectors item especially for me having been involved with weavers and textiles for forty years!

Excellent record of fab exhibition
Very pleased to purchase this at £22.50. It was £30 at the exhibition, reduced from £35. Very expensive, and heavy to cart around. So glad that I waited till I got home and purchased online. Beautifully produced and a very thorough representation of the exhibition, which was fabulous.

I would recommend getting something else
A fantastically written book with very high-quality pictures. I bought this to get a grounding in Indian textiles and their origin. It's an overview so for those looking for something more in-depth, I would recommend getting something else.

Gorgeous book!
A wonderful book, sumptuous photos and excellent accompanying information and history. I saw the exhibition at the V&A museum, which was fantastic, and this book is an excellent memory of it.
