Good Boba; Simple and Easy
For anyone that is used to buying boba, buying from E-Fa is probably what you are accustomed to. The pearls themselves are good, don't break easily (in the storage sense) and they are easy to prepare.Honestly a really good buy, if you are landlocked and can't get your hands on boba pearls. On a side note, personally when I buy these, I cook them within a syrup mixture (1 to 4; water to sugar) and then bring it to a boil. Then after bringing the mix to a boil, I add just enough boba that it is halfway under the mix, and then bring the boil down to a medium temp, and then leave the pearls alone for 7 minutes (with an occasional mix at the bottom of the pot so the pearls don't stick) and then I am done!Bascially, these are good boba pearls, if you need boba just get this, this is probably the best brand to buy, and I say this from eating boba for all of my life.

Double duty: Great taste and great for play!
I bought these based off of a website saying they were good for sensory play. But once I received it, thought they looked so yummy I made a double batch so that I could try how they tasted too. Was able to get the texture (for eating) just right by following the directions with a few minutes of cooking time wiggle room to spare even. We were very happy with the resulting from the milk tea....and we can be pretty critical about store bought ones where you're paying like $4-5 for a cup of Bubble Tea! Made in China, so not sure I want to be consuming a ton of this. Over-boiling does make them a bit sticky for play, so maybe better to underboil a little. My 3 & 5 year old sons LOVED playing with them in the tub, but husband was worried they were going to plug up the drain since they don't seem to break down all that easily...they just dry back up. So these will have to be played with in bowls or on the water table. If left out after play, you can reboil them and they get back to the right consistency for play.

Same as the Asian stores
This boba is the exact same one I get in the markets, it is about the twice the price as you would pay In Store but you are also paying for the conscience of not having to leave your house and finding this exact product. Make sure you boil it with enough water to cover the boba balls and add sugar to it is lightly sweetened and not to plain in taste

Yummy tapioca pearls at home in a flash!
These are amazing! I have long been a fan of bubble tea, but at $4 to $5 per cup it was getting to be an expensive habit. Imagine my joy when I discovered this five-minute version so that I can make my own bubbles at home in no time flat! I like my bubbles chewy so following the cooking instructions was fast and yielded the best results. It was not necessary to cook them for long periods of time. There is food coloring in these but the colors are pastel, soft and not overwhelming. It's fun to eat the colorful bubbles. The only problem, it is easy to eat too many! Only make as much as you need at a time. After rinsing the bubbles, cover them with a little simple syrup or honey to keep them yummy.

Great option for water beads
My son's behavior therapist wanted to use water beads in his therapy. Concerned about him eating some, I was looking for an alternative and came across these Boba. They take a little bit of work to prepare. The bag says five minutes, but that's not true. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes of cooking, and then 20 to 30 seconds of cooling off in cold water before they are ready to use. They are great for my sons therapy, and I have even made a few extra to put in my tea. :-)For eating purposes, you're supposed to use them within a few hours. But I have found for therapy purposes, after we use them I put them in the fridge to get cold and stiffen up a bit. My son likes to play with them both ways.

Not the same as black boba
It’s not the same as the regular black boba but it’s not bad. The texture of the black boba is more chewy while this one is soft but more solidify when you bite into it. It definitely takes longer than the recommended 5 minutes to cook. You have to marinate it in sugar/honey or some kind of fructose for at least 10-15 minutes before the boba absorbs some flavor. I probably wouldn’t purchase this again, however my friend enjoyed the different colors. So it just depends on your personal preference. I only brought this because I wasn’t paying attention to the title when it said colorful boba.

Best on amazon
I've purchased 4 different kinds of boba now and this is the best i have found. Only brand I will ever get. I like the black sugar boba best but these are great too. Beware there are some really bad boba brands on Amazon. Stick with this one.
