E EGOWAY Replacement Laptop Battery Compatible with MacBook Pro 15 inch A1321 A1286 Mid 2009 and 2010

I have been using the battery for a few weeks now. One thing see is that the battery drains about 30% within an hour. Then up to 50% before the 2nd hour. I tested this using just basic web surfing. I have calibrated the battery a few times but still the same result. I tried contacting Egoway through email but Gmail is unable to deliver it. I included some pictures so you can see fast the battery drains. I don’t see how I could get more than 3hrs with no charging. One good note, the battery does last long when the computer is asleep and you aren’t using it. If I don’t hear from Egoway this week I’ll return the battery and try another brand.

first shipment came with cable too short to reach connection on main board. second shipment reached board but wouldnt charge. both returned within a day of delivery.

This battery takes forever to charge and then holds the charge for about 20 minutes or less. After upgrading computer for hundreds, it is now useless again. Will have to buy a new battery and take computer apart again.

The battery was easy to install. It came with nice tools that were magnetic which was extremely helpful when removing and screwing back in the backplate screws. The MacBook likes the new battery and so do I.

Came with the necessary tools and has the declared capacity 7250mah reported after cycling The first charge took many hours and did not report correctly

Ordered one and it showed up a lemon. Returned and got a replacement. Showed up and was also a lemon. I’m not sure how long these sit in a warehouse for but they are trash.

Having realised that Apple no longer make batteries for my ageing 2010 MBP, I set out to try and get hold of a second hand one.Looking online, I can see that EGOWAY have been constantly recommended as the brand to go for. Ordered this battery with this in mind and turned up next day very well packaged. It even came with the special screwdrivers needed to get past Apples proprietary screws!The install took me about 10 minutes once I had got everything laid out ready and the MacBook booted up perfectly first time. It came with 62% charge and was good to go straight away but I am following the advice I found online to calibrate it by charging it to 100%, and then keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Next, unplug and use it normally to drain the battery. When you see the low battery warning, save your work, and keep your laptop on until it goes to sleep due to low battery. Wait at least 5 hours, then charge your laptop uninterrupted to 100%.All in all, a five star product and an affordable way to get a few more years out of my ancient computer!

Easy to install,Removal: remove 3 long (Ph0) screws followed by the 7 short screws (Ph0) to remove the bottom cover. Remove the 3 screws (Tx5) That holds the battery in place. Remove battery plug.Installation: The same as above but of course in reverse.Old battery count was on 460 and only lasted an hour. This battery lasts up to 5-6 hours (online browsing) on my 15” Mid 2009 MBP. Very happy with this purchase. Don’t go for the cheaper £20-30 items.This has made an 11 year old MBP very useable l now. It already has 8GB RAM and twin SSDs, with this new battery it is a new machine now. Very competitive against today’s new laptops.

I have a late 2010 Apple laptop bought in 2018 but the battery stopped charging two weeks ago. I have figured it out, that is very hard to get original new batteries into old laptops. After a bit of research I bought this replacing battery. It came almost fully uncharged (1%) so I wasn’t able to use it straight away, I turned of my laptop and replaced my original to this. I left my Laptop overnight to charge it fully before I turned it on. it looks exactly the same as the original battery. The Plastic feels durable, it doesn’t over heat in use. Fits perfectly in the battery cradle, no gaps, not loose just perfect as the original one.

In the process of fixing up my old MacBook. Added new ram, an SSD and this battery.Extremely easy to install, just like any battery other battery on a older Mac.Works just like a genuine one, long lasting with a cycle count of 0.Massive bargain.

I've had the battery for a little while now and I can confidently say that it wasn't worth the money. Installed it in my 2009 15 inch Macbook Pro and it lasted about 2 hours before running out the first time I used it. This morning it lasted less than an hour and died at 60% after plugging in and switching the laptop back on the Battery doesn't seem to be charging. Comes with a handy screwdriver though so not a total waste of money.
