it's more transparent than you think. and the color doesn't turn out as good if you put it in front of something.

I bought this when my closet door was damaged and I wanted something to hang up. These look beautiful. There are still a bit more see through than the picture lets on. For example if you were standing a foot in front you could see through it. But I love it! I got this one for side and the navy colored one for the other and it looks awesome!

Look good but too see-through

I like the Noren just fine. It is a reasonably nice piece, but it is not opaque enough for my application. Light from behind the Noren will allow a relatively clear view of what is behind it. I was trying for a little privacy so, not what I needed. The curtain itself was a good value, so I kept it go in front of a closet door.

The size is accurate, but the material is some polyester with a very low thread count. So not only is it not opaque as implied by the picture, but it has that slight reflective sheen so distinctive of synthetic fabrics. I would actually recommend looking at their cotton Norens, as those are actually have a very nice weave, and are much more opaque and matte. Just wash them first.

Made well. Kind of nice how both side match up.

Installed in the doorway between my foyer and living room back-to-back with another, red, Noren curtain. Note that you must cut these if you wish to use them in a doorway. Very easy to do. Also, not that these are sheer, so which ever room has the most light will be seen into.

The curtain serves the purpose of dividing spaces but the texture of the fabric is nubby, not what I imagined. Ok for the cost.
