Boxset arrived in gift-worthy condition, in its own cardboard box. Within the package itself, the individual blister packs are held tight with the use of two plastic stubs, preventing them from sliding about.I feel like the Pop Culture line of Hot Wheels is extremely underrated, especially among traditional Hot Wheels collectors. The HW fanbase is roughly split between track set players, collector of real car castings, and custom hobbyists, none of whom are Pop Culture's target audience--the comic book and movie fan.Once I grasped that Pop Culture cars are canvases to posters and album artwork, the whole concept clicked for me. Suddenly it didn't matter that Pop Culture cars are angular, large, and often un-sexy: Super Van and Haulin' Gas are the perfect vehicles for miniaturized artwork, and the cars can be conveniently placed on any desk (and swooshed, but don't tell your coworkers that).Alex Ross's art is perfectly captured in five miniature cars. The Flash gets the short end of the stick (perhaps saved for a second series?) but the fantastic art on the big three that cover the sides and the roofs are more than enough to make up for the slightly lackluster GL van. I love Wonder Woman's big decal on the Austin's roof.Great gift idea for comic book fans, regardless of whether they collect Hot Wheels.

I purchased this for my dad who is an avid Hot Wheel collector. He loved it, particularly the box that the cars came in. Very nice art. Inside the decorative box, the cars were just kind of stuck in- there wasn't any kind of packing protection, but there wasn't much room for movement either. The box was very carefully packed inside an Amazon box, though, with lots of air pillows and packing. You could tell that much care was taken as this is a collector's item. Thank you.

I had tried to get all the cars from various stores but could never find but two. Getting the entire set, in a box with Alex Ross's work on it just made it all that much better!!! It's become a major part of my collection of comic-related items and I love it! The price was great and it arrived the next day after it was ordered. Thank you very much!

I think Alex Ross is one of the most amazing artists to ever pick up a pencil when it comes to comics. Seeing his work on the card of a Hot Wheels car was wonderful to see. I already bought all these car loose, but bought them again when I seen they were together in this box set.

First of all I am a huge fan of Alex Ross. His lifelike renditions of classic comic book characters are absolutely amazing. With that said I had to get a couple of sets of his painted Hot Wheels cars. I, like many, grew up with Hot Wheels and loved using my imagination to play.I'm a collector of comics and their related peripherals, so I had to own this set. It's neat to once again own Hot Wheels.The set includes a vehicle for the main characters for DC Comics.

I love hot wheels and as a company they are emptying my wallet month to month this Alex Ross set is so cool and well done, the card art itself is so good I cant crack these open. I think any fan of DC or Hot Wheels would be very pleased with this set.
