Coloring Fairies: Featuring the artwork of celebrated illustrator Niroot Puttapipat (PicturaTM)

I have been doing adult coloring for about a year, and before now had purchased the symmetrical type coloring choices, some great ones too. I practiced on those, some design and flowering pictures. I was happy with the outcome but then came across these. The renderings of Niroot Puttapipat, fairies. It is much more complicated than anything I had come across before. One of the pictures travels across many pages, and I have to say is the most beautiful free hand art I have seen in this medium. This particular group of booklets has mermaids, Dragons, Cities etc. In my opinion, not for the beginner unless art has been something you have worked in before. This book truly inspired my imagination and allowed me to use my own colors and ideas. I very much enjoyed making the picture, for my own reasons naturally. I made it for a dear friend who is ill and loves fairies. I recommend all of them to anyone who enjoys good pencils and a wonderful artist to help bring the fantasy to reality. I highly recommend Prismacolor Verithin and Prismacolor Premier pencils. To really fulfill artistic talent, why not use the best there is? My opinion for sure, but I have purchased many other brands, and some of their colors are some that aren't available in Prismacolor, but close enough. So, I hope you have as much fun as I am.

This is the 3rd coloring book I bought from this series.Even though the drawings are amazing, it got 4 stars because outlines on some of images are a little furry. I am not sure they were caused by a bad print job or the originals were scanned with low resolution. I tried to look at other reviewers pictures but could not tell if I got a bad copy. I decide to keep this because I love the illustrations and the blurriness would not prevent me from enjoying it. I uploaded 2 digitals so you can make your own judgement.The shading of this book is not as dark as the Medieval Times book so I can still shade with color pencils.There are 5 images in the back and they can be colored as well.Paper quality is excellent and is probably one of the thickest in the market.There are 8 of 8" x 6 5/6" panels with total width of 53 3/8" but you don't need to open all to color. It is easy to lay it flat to work on.I recommend this book.

I have had this book for over a year, and I agree with the three-star review. It is complicated! I just looked and looked at the mesmerizing pages before I could start coloring, and it is still a work in progress. As I color I get to peek into a hidden world and watch a story come to life. I have made some mistakes and erasing is not easy, so I have had to camouflage the glitches, like the fairy talking to the bird. Her dress is much longer. I have also added some of my own embellishments like the red stripes on the boy fairy's socks and a symbol on the horseman's flag. It is hard to come up with different designs for the wings. Next time I will google pictures of butterflies. Yes, I am going to purchase again and start over with better pencils. This book is my favorite of all my coloring books.

I bought this back in 2016 at a book store and lost it somewhere in the five moves I’ve made since then. I’m currently deployed and hunted down this color panoramic because I loved it so much the first time, I just wanted to do it again. Highly recommend if you want hours of entertainment and a beautiful end result.

Oh the challenge of it all. Such a nice idea to have it fold out. The paper is nice for coloring pencils and gel pens alike. I like the dramatic effects you can make with the wings. The animals are the hardest to keep them looking like real animals by blending the colors using soft strokes and muted colors. even making the birds colorful, they came out great too!

I have always loved fairies. I've interacted my fair share over the years.I didn't color, in this book foe the first year I had it because I didn't want to ruin Niroot's artwork. Then I reminded myself I could buy another. So I did and glad for it.Coloring in someone else's artwork is like reading a book you love. As you do you feel like you get know that author/artist, as a friend.Thank you, Niroot, for making the illustrations, in this magical coloring book. I love coloring them almost as much as I love looking at them.

Being relatively new to coloring, this book scared me. I finally got up the nerve to color it and it went much better than expected. However, I love to go over my Prisma soft core pencils with glitter/metallic accents. The paper tore easily--which I did not anticipate. I would recommend this challenge to others. My goal was to use it at Christmas to make up stories with my 5 year old granddaughter and it will be great for that!

I love the beautiful art work. The pages are a good stock too. The only issue I have is that the lines are so dark, one can't play with shading within the sketches themselves, just the space.It's still a beautiful little coloring book. I would buy again.
