Good Idea -had i seen this before i would have not wasted money on my Translucent Filter housing .really gives a good Gauging of the condition of the Filter.

Must have a primary transparent filter of 5 microns to prevent main RO cartridges from clogging.Only problem with my product was that it had a hairline crack,which I hope may not harm functioning.

AMPEREUS Glass Pre Filter Housing Set (5-Pieces, Transparent)This is very weak quality material and have manufacturing defect in cap screwing thread of the container.Hopefully this type of material must not be sold by amazon.in (a quality web shopping service).Firstly I received damage material in screwing thread, I initiate replacement, I received replaced but same manufacturing defect in screwing thread BUT TODAY , THE CONTAINER CRACKED DUE TO WATER PRESSURE INSIDE. ANY ONE CAN SEE THE TYPE OF CRACK AND CONFIRM THE CAUSE.I used relatively good for 3 yrs that was with white non transparent and purchased from ebay.in. hope fully the same is available on amazon but sale of ampereus type may loose confidence with amazon.in. I already loose trust against few online shopping sites but now amazon....(Container was kept for a week to display my society residants). ....rs pathak 9971011330

The first piece came is damaged in transport But replacement send by Amazon prefilter is good when L had installed it is leaking but It is due to packing rubber is not fitted properly so I put old rubber and then leaks stoped.

The product quality is very good.Filter condition can monitored from out side. Filter body is rigid and hard. Very nice product.

Quality of filter casing is not so bad.but supporting plate is too weak.if you are less confident you should give some extra support(with some cable tie or thin nylon thread) .good thing is you can clearly see the condition of filter,that helps to prevent frequent opening for filter inspection.

Good product when compared to the ones which are not transparent and thus you can see when the filter goes dirty..But the 5 accessories mentioned are not compatible. For eg. I had to buy separate screw bolts to fix the top part which connects to the wall. The screw provided was of different size.

Does it's job; the transparent housing displays the condition of the filter inside. So, now I don't have to open the pre filter knowing what to expect. This will also help your RO unit in many ways.
