I've tried all of the shelf stable protein drinks at whole Foods in Sunnyvale, California. This brand is the most tolerable. It has a delightful chocolate taste, that probably includes real chocolate. In my opinion It does not tastes like chemicals. There is no aspartame taste. If you listen hard, you can taste the stevia, but much less than other brands.My whole food sells a powder version of this drink, which I also use.

great drink, with good exp. date wish they sold this in 4pk. and received it alot sooner ,will have to purchase elsewhere ,i would recomend

Taste is very good. I’ve ordered this product now monthly for a year and it’s always been very good with an occasional issue with the cap opening mechanism but easily solved by poking a hole in the safety cover with an utensil. Highly recommend for dieting. I’ve tried many other protein drinks and I prefer the taste of this one by far.

Flavor is blah. Overall mixed well into my diet but just didnt like the chalky after taste.

Chocolate had an off aftertaste to it. I wanted to like it, but I was not satisfied with the flavor and aftertaste.

Taste is very similar to Ensure chocolate, but thinner consistency - closer to 2% milk I would say. Tasty, but the Stevia aftertaste was too much for me. I dislike Stevia, but thought this might be okay since it was one of the last ingredients, but it definitely lingers after each sip. If you can tolerate Stevia, you will be good to go. Going to switch to Ensure Max, which has more nutrition, more protein, and no stevia.
