Small but surprisingly powerful
Great brightness and amazing colors and contrast for a small projector . This unit is 480p but downscales 1080p very nicely . High contrast helps overcome some of them lack of detail . Perfect for a kids room . Anime and cartoons look amazing !

The Little projector that could for backyards
The specs on this are not great but it’s more about what the sum of parts allow; a small portable package that you can set up pretty much anywhere. It’s light on the extras but it wasn’t hard for me to scrounge together a tripod I had bought years ago, disconnect the fire stick on the tv for a bit and we were off to find a wall to project on.Pico projectors on the low end are mainly from lesser known brands, most notable brand is probably anker.Optoma provides just the basics: manual controls, built in battery, a recessed lens, and a carrying bag. No remote, not even a lens cap. No apps or streaming, strictly bring your own device.Powered the fire Stick directly from the projector and we were up and running in maybe 10 min of fiddling with the tripod providing all necessary positioning. And there we were just watching avatar on the living room wall, with the small size can imagine doing this on vacation anywhere there is a large enough wall. The speakers are loud enough to watch but can also send sound out via 3.5mm stereo cable to nearly any portable speaker you have laying around.Picture quality is reasonably sharp at even 80”, yeah it’s not HD sharp but perfectly fine for backyard viewing. Played around with YouTube music videos as background visuals and will be fun at the next bbq. It’s also surprisingly bright and doesn’t require pitch dark lighting to get a usable image, of course the darker the better.Charger is a 19v device, would have been nice if it took power over usb to extend playtime via an external battery pack but no dice.A cheap tripod and streaming stick are all you need to make this a fun flexible piece of kit.

Nice and portable, could be brighter though.
I liked the portability, but I think this projector needs to be brighter.

Great deal for the.
My only dislike is that there is no remote control.

It's peice of juck
Bought it about year ago but never used it until yesterday for Super Bowl but it doesn't work at all. Power indicator is on but no projection. I should try it earlier but I never expect any product fails the first time. I would give 0 star if it's available.

great picture quality with almost no input options making this portable projector worthless
the only way to use this projector outside the home is with a phone that supports MHL and a compatable adapter. the usb on this projector only supplies power. it has no way to read any files on a usb drive. if thats not bad enough the image on bright mode has a strong green tint. on all the other setting the green tint is slight but noticable. it has keystone correction but you have to do this in the menu, and with no remote you are left making adjustments on the fly while trying not to move the projector

Better than expected
I'm really loving this little battery powered projector. It's much smaller than I expected! I have some experience with Optoma projectors and they have always had pretty good brightness and sharpness for the price. This one is much smaller than their larger models I've used but it works very well as a portable projector. The specs don't seem too impressive - 300 lumens and 800x400 resolution seems pretty bad. However, the image is sharp if you keep it under 80 inches diagonal or so, and the LED light source has a 100,000:1 contrast ratio which gives it much better blacks than expected, and considering it's size, it's actually pretty bright. In a dark or almost dark room, I had no problem watching movies on this projector even on the dimmer eco setting, although the normal setting is preferred. There are 3 settings, and the brightest setting works ok even for rooms with light in them, like a conference room. Obviously the larger you project, the dimmer and less sharp the image gets, but I had no problem projecting about a 70 inch wide image on normal brightness is a fairly dark room. There is a tripod mount on the bottom of the projector, so if you have a small video camera tripod, like the kind vloggers use, you can aim it at the wall and the straighter you can get it, the sharper it will look. This is the same with any projector, but viewing straight on is even more important with this one since you are only working with 300 lumens and WVGA resolution. There is some keystone adjustment and it does a good job of trying to automatically correct it for you, but projecting as straight to the wall as possible will help a lot. There is a little focus knob on the side but no other adjustments or optical zoom for the lens.I do use a 100" projector screen for my daily TV watching so I tested it with that and of course it looked really nice. I figured most people will be using a white wall or a sheet, so I tested on that as well and it was very usable. The trick is to make sure you aren't trying to project too large. I was actually very impressed with how sharp the image is, knowing it's projecting considerably less pixels than a 1080p projector. But unless you are right up next to it, you don't really notice the lower resolution, especially projecting on a wall or white sheet. Considering this is a battery powered projector and you can connect it to a battery powered video player like your phone or a tablet, it's pretty cool that you could easy use this to watch a movie out in a field or the woods where there is no power if you had some sort of screen to use.Speaking of connections, I was able to immediately connect my iPhone X to the projector using the included HDMI cable (shown in one of the photos I attached). I did have to provide the Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter (I bought mine for around 50 dollars from Apple but a lot of companies make this adapter and those should also work) which allows you to charge your device and output video at the same time. The first time I used the projector, I turned it on, and my phone automatically detected the projector and screen shared to it. I was able to play a full size video and it looks great. So you could easily download a Netflix or iTunes movie, go somewhere with no power or internet, and play a movie as long as you have enough battery life in your phone or tablet. I didn't try this with an Android device, but it should be easy to connect any device with an HDMI out to the projector with the right adapter.Considering the price of this projector, how useful it is to take with you anywhere, and the quality and brightness of the image considering the relatively low specs, I'm really impressed with this little projector. I do want to say the audio output is ok but nothing great. There is a headphone out jack which is nice and you can also use that as an AUX out jack to send to an external battery powered speaker or sound system if that's available. I would not recommend using this projector as a full time projector for watching shows at home but if you are a student away at college or someone who likes to watch videos or movies on projector sometimes, this one is so portable and easy to take with you anywhere. You just need a wall to project it on. And I do recommend a little tripod. I posted some photos for reference. There's one next to mom 42mm apple watch, and some of the case and power supply that's included. I tried to get some photos of the image but they didn't turn out. I am not good at taking photos of projector screens, hopefully my descriptions were helpful. The battery life is pretty good, I was able to get through a full movie on normal brightness. I haven't tried it on full brightness yet, I am hoping it can last 2 hours. having the LED light source really cuts down on power compared to a traditional bulb. Of course it also works when plugged in if you need to use it for long periods of time.Update: I've added a few photos. Not the best but better than nothing. This is on a 100" screen and you can see it doesn't completely fill the screen but I mostly just wanted to show how it looks pretty good even projected at a bigger than recommended size. The brightness is set to normal and there is no keystone adjustment so it isn't perfect. This is a random 4k YouTube video that I'm playing from a laptop to the projector using the included cable and my computer has set the display resolution to 720p for the projector, although the native resolution is a bit lower than that.

Good quality just couldn't connect to tablet
The picture was pretty good for a small projector I was just unable to connect to my tablet but my firestick worked great but returned cause I bought just to connect to my tablet. Doesn't have a remote.
