The cable itself seems decent quality and will connect a device with a mini-HDMI port to a standard HDMI port. This is a common way of doing livestreaming, although often a USB port can be used instead.Double check your camera connection size before ordering! This one is mini-HDMI which doesn't fit all cameras. Despite the product title saying "Perfect for DLSR Cameras" many have a micro-HDMI connection instead so need a cable such as  this one .

I needed one of these to work with a Nikon digital camera that I have. This product is designed for use with a different camera, but it is literally nothing but an HDMI to Mini HDMI. Mini HDMI is found on a lot of digital cameras as a way to send out video to a TV or Monitor so that you can view video that you recorded on your digital camera. Mini HDMI is different from Micro HDMI which is even smaller of a connector and even more rare to see on devices. I know that the Raspberry Pi 4 uses Micro HDMI but this cable is not compatible with Micro HDMI devices.This cable works great with my Nikon and allows me to use my DSLR as a webcam when used with a USB dongle that the HDMI plugs into. This is really overkill but it will work with things like Skype and Zoom once you have configured everything correctly on your PC.

This mini HDMI to HDMI cable is for some version of Drift Ghost action camera, but it doesn’t have to be used for that. I used it to connect a portable monitor to my desktop pc through a Displaylink converter, and it worked fine. The cable must be bi-directional because it’s meant to send the signal from the mini HDMI side to the HDMI side, but I did it in reverse and had no issue with it. I have no issue with the cable. It did what I needed it to do without any problems. The cable didn’t seem like anything special – pretty much like any HDMI cable that gets bundled with stuff except this has a mini HDMI end.

I've been working on a few Raspberry Pi projects with the 4 series boards, and while it's nice that they have dual video, I don't have nearly as many mini HDMI cables around as I do regular HDMI.I was happy to see that this worked just fine with the Pi 4 boards, at correct resolutions. The connection is solid, and the cable's overall construction seems about the same as the official Raspberry Pi cables.

Got this to connect my microscope to my computer. Works fine! Connected easily, and worked no problems.
