Humes Berg Galaxy GL8010 Case for Drumstick

Very roomy and sturdy - worth the money. My son loves this!

I started using this new stick holder, the other evening. It certainly is a "step up" from the traditional stick bag.Surprisingly, the top zippered compartment holds a lot, as do the two interior pockets. The weighted bottom makes it so easy to have this case stand next to my kit for easy access to sticks, brushes, etc.The carry strap is well made and there are enough other carry options. I use the phone holder to hold my drum keys. If anything, this would be perfect if it had one or two more zipper pockets. Still, it's a welcome update to my drum kit and holds more sticks, mallets, brushes, etc. than I could ever use on a single gig.Strongly recommended.

I do take accountability for not looking at the measurements before buying it, but the product is massive and an inconvenience to carry around.

I like the Humes Galaxy GL8010. It is sturdy and great for holding a large variety of sticks, brushes and mallets. The weighted bottom is superb for holding it stable when reaching in to access your striking implements. I primarily use the GL8010 for its convenience in my home studio, where it is stationary. The down side is that it is too bulky to carry around on your back to gigs. The accessory compartments are inconvenient and small. Also, there is no compartment for books or staff sheets; unless you're able to roll them up into one of the inside compartments. That being said, for me the Galaxy GL8010 is a major leap over the half cut, 3ltr. rocks weighted-down Soda bottle I was using.

A pro friend of mine used these and after searching around, this was the only one I could find that would really stand up on its own with big beaters and mallets in.I managed to fit all my non-drumstick items in - two large Bass Drum beaters, two smaller staccato BD beaters, three sets of timp sticks, two pairs of vibe mallets, four glock mallets and two general susp cym mallets and there is still room.Very nicely made.

Perfect mallet bag. It's a good quality bag, holds a lot of mallets and stands on its own. My high school drummer loves it!

This Humes & Berg Galaxy GL8010 for Drumsticks and Mallets is constructed very well. This is plenty of room to hold a lot of drum sticks and mallets. The dividers in the bag are totally adjustable as well as the carrying straps. The bag does stand on it's end which makes it very easy to access your sticks, brushes, mallets with ease. Their are plenty of pockets to store drum keys and other equipment you may use for a job. I highly recommend this product for all percussion players who need a sturdy stick and mallet holder that can take a beating.

Birthday gift for my son. He outgrew his other stick bags. A friend recommended this one. It works great. Lots of room to carry extra gear!
