I haven’t used this too much yet, but I really like it so far! The cleanser smells great and feels like it’s going to be a great, conditioning cleanser for my brushes (not harsh at all). My brushes look and feel great after use. It seems absolutely perfect for eyeshadow and other small brushes and for traveling overall. Star lost for two reasons... I like the suction cup cleaning mat, but it is very small. Yes, that is convenient for travel and fitting in the lid is neat, but it’s hard to clean a foundation brush or anything large with that. Still though, for travel it works. I take the pad out and suction it to the bottom of the sink near the drain. It’s easier than trying to use it in the lid. That leads me to the other reason for a star loss... moisture the tin could definitely be an issue when traveling. I use the cleanser at home as well, so there I have time to leave it open and let it dry, but on the road that’s not really possible. I wouldn’t advise sealing the tin up with moisture in the lid from using the mat or leftover liquid around the cleanser bar. I open mine back up whenever I get home or to the next place and hope that helps keep bacteria from developing in a damp, dark environment. That’s just my two cents though. All in all, very satisfied and will reorder when needed as long as I don’t start to notice a negative impact on my brushes (which seems unlikely - cleanser seems very gentle)!

This product works great. It cleaned everything. My foundation brush is perfectly clean. And it worked very fast. Great product that does it's job very well.

I bought this set about 2 years ago after I had bought a set of their brushes (which are awesome too!). I had started noticing that the MAC brush cleaner I had been using for 20 years was not working like usual, then realized they had changed the formulation and decided to try this cleaner. The first few months I was wearing makeup 2-3x a week, and would clean at least 10 brushes a week, but of course when the world shut down, I didn’t wear makeup for about 9 months, but started back at 1x/week then up to 2x week, cleaning about 10 brushes (4 larger/dense or fluffy) every time I wear makeup, and I would say I have only gone through 1/3-1/2 of the tin. Also, when I first got it to also use on my older, really expensive MAC brushes I thought I was going to have to throw out, using this cleaner on them totally reconditioned them and they looked new again! I have used it on cheap brushes, and it improves them from out of the package. Using the silicone brush cleaning pad is really useful too, and at first I didn’t think I would use the tin with the color removing pad, but have found it useful for switching between darker eyeshadow colors to lighter colors with the same brush. They offer a 30-day tryout period, so I highly recommend you try it out, and if you don’t like it, send it back…which you can’t do with a lot of other products like this.

Very good easy to use product. The soap is so strong in taking the gunk out of my makeup brushes yet gentle on the bristles. I also like the sponge for cleaning the brushes when doing make up.

Not a heavy makeup user, but i do use light makeup regularly (w decent drugstore-bought brushes) so this is perfect for me. The soap smells great and the silicone scrub makes me want to clean all my brushes! The dust sponge works great as well.
