Noico 80 mil (2 mm) 20 sqft (1.9 sqm) car Sound deadening mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Audio Noise Insulation and dampening

Bought this sound dampening to apply to the rear panel of a pickup hoping it would help with the road noise in the rear of the cab. Expected it to help a little but I have been very surprised with the results.The sheets are very easy to apply. They are mouldable, easy to cut and stick with ease. I purchased a couple of rollers (small and medium) and it was very easy to roll and shape the dampening sheets to the shape of the rear panel.Once applied I took the truck for a road test and the result is amazing! So much more quieter. Road noise is much less and speakers sound a lot better too.Now only if they made something to dampen the noise of the kids too!

Really good stuff, easy to fit. I have a very noisy X-trail and its done an excellent job of killing a lot of the tractor noise and bangign from the hard suspension. Would have given five stars but I ordered a second box of this and it didn’t turn up.

Despite some of the negative reviews for this product, I found this product to be great in every respect. The adhesive was first class, it was extremely easy to apply and extremely mouldable. I used this product to soundproof the wheel well in my Peugeot 208 and I found it easy, despite all the jiggles in the metal. The result was less noise and booming from the rear of the car on the motorway, which is fatiguing. I found it best to apply the large pieces and then to cut the small pieces to fill in the gaps. Make sure you leave an overlap and when roller end it makes a nice tidy job. I was expecting it to be a mess, but I was really impressed with how the product mounds around corners and jiggles. Simple instructions that if you follow, you will have the same results as me. The negative reviews are by people that are incapable of following instructions. In summary, I found this so good, I ordered more for my other car. This box was enough to do the boot and wheel well in my Peugeot 208.

I'd consider my BMW E82 to be reasonably well sound insulated from the factory but I can genuinely tell a difference in sound levels entering the cabin after installing this on the door skins. The bass is tighter and I'm sure I don't have to have the volume as loud as I did prior to using this product. It takes quite a bit of work disassembling the interior but for me it was worth the time and effort. For the price vs results experienced I'm really quite pleased!

Didn't make much of a difference I'd stick with killmat

In warm weather easy to use but if cold you need to warm the sheets up with a heat gun or hair dryer to make it more manageable.

Don't usually rate my purchases but here's another exception. Bought for the purpose of reducing the rattle as my coupe has a closed boot space which increases rattle noise compared to a usual hatchback with a removable shelf. Honestly, I have seen an improvement, this being with me applying the patches throughout the whole of the spare wheel space and around it to some extent. I did run out of the mats as I didn't manage to fully cover the the underneath section of the back shelf with them.If you have a powerful sub which is causing rattle throughout your car, I highly recommend this. Also suggest buying a wooden roller along with this so you can make sure that the mats are fully stuck onto whatever surface you've applied them to.Will be ordering again as I didn't fully get to cover all the surfaces I needed too. (Should be enough for a hatchback)Also, would like to add that this has helped with general noise reduction too while driving around. You would probably think that I got sponsored when I say that this has made me feel as if it's helped with the structure of my E46 when going over speed bumps, car legit feels more solid.
