Better than an issued bergen.
You can tell this bag was designed with help from the military. It’s comfortable, practical, seems to have everything thought out, and i feel like you could fill it with bricks and it would be fine. I tested it’s 'waterproofness’ in the shower without the waterproof cover too... trust me if you ever get caught out in a rainstorm and don’t put your cover on straight away, or even if you get attacked by a bear.. your kit will be fine.
