BOKER PLUS MPP Multi Purpose Pen, Silver - Lightweight aluminum grip body, with a glass breaker tip and screwed on cap. It can be used as a kubotan for self defense. It will work as a stylus, but I would very careful with that due to metal to glass could cause scratches. The ink cartridge is a "Parker style" and easy to find. I believe it should be able to use Space pen ink cartridge considering that I use them in my Parker Pen. It writes well, feels good in the hand and has tactical uses. A very good pen in my opinion. I would recommend to friends.

I see so many tactical pens selling for ridiculous prices and couldn't imagine paying 100 dollars for one.This pen is a great lower end, while still being a brand that inspires trust, example of what a tactical pen should be.*ALERT!*Before I get too far, I see a lot of negative reviews on this pen which almost made me not get it myself until I read them. You will see a lot of people complaining that they can't get into the pen to replace the ink cartridge. EVEN WITH PLIARS!Well the reason for that is because they are twisting in the wrong direction. Because of a giant design PRO, the cartridge thread are REVERSED (meaning lefty tighty, righty loosey) so that when threading on the cap of the pen, you can never thread it on so tightly that ink cartridge can't be removed. Threading the top too hard will simply begin to unthread the ink cartridge.Great design many manufacturers don't think about.I also saw a lot of reviews saying the cap doesn't stay put and can fall off when writing. That's not true with my pen. The cap has a positive click that holds it on the other end of the pen while writing. Granted, it does have a little bit of wobble, which is why I pulled one star from the review as I can see how that might be annoying for some. But it will not come off until you take it off.The glass breaker is a little iffy when coconsidering using this pen as a force multiplier (kubaton) as it could potentially hurt your thumb while trying to get the bad guy off of you. However, in my testing, the fact that my whole hand is wrapped around the pen as well as my thumb on the end, means my thumb is absorbing very little stress from a strike because of the force dispersion through my whole hand gripping the pen. I've done a few soft to medium strikes on myself and I promise, the end that's supposed to hurt the bad guy hurts waaaaay more than anything I felt on my thumb (which was absolutely nothing painful at all.)So yea. Sturdy pen. Great features. Don't listen to the people who didn't read other reviews.

This is flat out the best writing pen I have ever used. It is smooth and comfortable to hold in your hand. It has lived up to most of my expectations and i would defiantly recomend it to a friend. The only negative issue that i have come across so far is that for me the screw cap seems to take a couple more turns to take off than I fell it should. That being said this is a quality product that i carry daily both at my security job and in my free time and it works great.

OK product, but after 1 year of use, lots of little stuff that shouldn't have happened for the price paid. 1) The cap needs to be screwed back on, but when screwing it off, it's too easy to take the entire cartridge assembly off. 2) Screw the cartridge assembly into the body of the pen too tightly and it becomes difficult to take off. 3) The finish on the pin is easily scratched and after 1 year of use, the wear really shows. 4) Glass breaker on the cap screws in, but after a couple of weeks began working its way out. I had to put a drop of superglue on it to keep it stuck in so it wouldn't fall out.
