Plug in and works
Works natively with MS Flight Sim Steam. I did not have to set it up at all. I just plugged it in and it works. All the switches and gear down, off and running immediately. Nice realistic lights pattern when you put the gear down.

Could work with any games
If you want to use this with any games like elite dangerous, star citizen, or no man sky, there's a program to make it act like a macro key. Google "DCSFlightpanels" and read instructions on how it work. So far i used this on Elite Dangerous. You just have to key blind each switch to a keyboard key. Only downside is the landing gear lights doesn't light up when you use it. Product is good, switch has a click like real switches. You can take the plate off and its slimmer but wont stay vertical w/o it.

Sturdy and great sounds
First, and least important, The sounds of the all the Logitech switches are incredible. You can make a fortune doing ASMR just moving these switches around. They have a sound of finality. Yet, they continue to move as they did the day I got them. It's a wonderful addition to the simulation experience for sure. Bonus feature if you turn on the avionics switch the other panels that Logitech sells will turn on. Give a nifty feel of realism.

Great product, cheap components, iffy software.
First of all, I really enjoy this product. It adds another level of immersion to my flight simulator, and makes flipping switches (mainly the panel, landing and taxi lights) so much quicker and easier. I don't have to grab the mouse and click a small toggle switch under the yoke of my Cessna 172 in FSX anymore. I love it. Sadly, the red rocker switches Saitek uses are very cheap (I have had zero problems with the black switches). I have returned this product twice already because the contacts are so bad. The first time the Master ALT switch wouldn't work properly (only if I flipped it in a certain, very careful way, and it still wasn't consistently toggling), and the second time the Master BAT switch didn't work at all. I am currently waiting for a third switch panel to be shipped. Hopefully, third time's a charm and all the switches will work this time, but if not, I'll just replace the red rocker switches with better quality switches (with the help of a friend who is an engineer). I can't be bothered to keep returning this product, so I might as well just fix it this time. Another issue is the Saitek software/drivers. I had trouble getting FSX to recognize the panel initially, but eventually found a fix. Task Manager was showing multiple instances of the software running at once when I would load FSX, so I had to manually click End Task on one of them to get the panel to work. This was a bit of a hassle, so I uninstalled the Saitek software completely and downloaded SPAD (third-party drivers/control panel) and the panel has worked perfectly since. SPAD also allows for more customization than the default Saitek software, so I highly recommend it. All in all, I still really enjoy the switch panel (despite its flaws). I can't imagine going back to clicking switches in the virtual cockpit (which is difficult because I use TrackIR, and my head moves slightly while trying to look under the yoke while flying, which wastes time and causes misclicks). I'm giving this product 4 stars (for now) because it does what it was made to do just fine, but there are issues that need to be fixed. I just hope Logitech improves the quality of the components/software in the future.

Does NOT work with MSFS 2024
This unit does not work with MSFS 2020 or 2024. My wife bought this unit for me for use with FSX. For that sim the unit was great. It was designed to work perfectly for high wing Cessnas but I found it adequate for other aircraft. The build quality is decent and the tactile feel improved the flight sim experience. Unfortunately, for MSFS 2020 the key binds did not work as well for some aircraft and there is no way to reassign the key binds in MSFS 2020. For MSFS 2024, the unit is not recognized at all. There are 3rd party solutions you can download to address this, but it is disappointing that Logitech and Microsoft cannot get together for a native solution on this.

A cool switch panel, but has one issue.
I just got this panel. It's been around about 14 years. For the most part, all switches work properly, right out of the box. However, in FS2020, it initially did not work. Had to download a driver from Logitech to get it working as expected. Seems when Logitech took over production from Saitech, they assumed all the products would just "work" in FS2020, and never bothered to write a driver, until shortly after FS2020's initial release. LOL Once I had the driver, all worked well. The switches operate the individual controls the sim had setup for it in the Logitech profile. We did not have to manually set the controls up. The one issue I had was when I went to start a piston engine, the sim would crash to desktop as soon as the engine rotary switch was set to "START". The only work-around I'm aware of that doesn't involve editing registries is to swap aircraft out each time you run the sim. LOL All the other Logitech panels work fine with no problem, other than needing to download the driver plugin from Logitech, which only has to be done once, and it works for everything, as it should've done on FS2020's release. LOL It'll hold me over till I can afford the Honeycomb yoke with switches and starter. Not a terrible product. Just could've been better handled when Logitech took over production from Saitech.
