The waterglobe rotates and throws up sparkly glitter while the music plays -- guaranteed to fascinate infants! BUT, I was surprised at the size of this thing. It's 7" high and weighs a couple of pounds. You have to turn it over to wind the music. So this is definitely not a toy for a child to play with.Mine arrived with a leak (plastic bag around it was damp, air bubble inside globe) so I'm not sure how well it will hold up. I wish it wasn't made in China! (Amazon arranged for free return & replacement.)
