26" Long Light Weight Long Handle Garden Hedge Shear with 7" Blade

Only trim things as soft as grass with this piece of junk! I tried to trim a tiny branch and easily broke the handle. I have no idea how they can claim that this is "great for cutting small to medium-sized branches". I feel very misled by the description -- since it's only durable enough to cut soft plants; the description should make this clear.The material this is made out of is in no way "strong"! A grown man like myself can accidentally break it while exerting minor effort. The handle broke while using less strength than needed to snap the tiny branch with my bare hands! So, this material is much weaker than the wood I was trying to cut.For what it's worth, this tool works great for cutting soft plants like overgrown grass or weeds. Try using a sideways motion while snipping to cut more like a sickle or scythe. Otherwise, with no motion the blades fail to cut some weeds (the blades aren't that sharp).

Handle snapped during first use. I returned it.

That is the only way to make hedge shears.One piece of metal. Not much can go wrong.Not like the pile of useless now hedge shears lying in my shed with detached metal/plastic tubing handles from the blades. And by the way, these are so much lighter than any hedge shears I've previously bought!
