Uses AAA battery which is handy
It's a good little item, great if u are going to use it for the same length of time each time as it is quite slow to adjust as goes in 10second intervals. I like that after the alarm goes off it counts up so you know how long you have overcooked something for!

Design over functionality
Takes too long to twist to correct time. Awkward to do anything when your hands are wet.

User friendly timer.
Very easy to use. Twist the bottom to adjust time in minutes and 10 second increments. Press the top and the timer counts down. When the alarm goes off it has a loud beep which continues to sound for one minute then it counts up which is useful if you happen to be out of the room when the timer goes off.

its ok - takes a bit of time to spin round to a big number but it is better than a clockwork one. got one for the mother in law and she is pretty happy
