Willow & Everett Cold Brew Coffee & Iced-Tea Maker Pitcher, 2 L Glass Dispenser w/Metal Spigot & Mesh Filter Iced Coffee & Sun Tea Brewing System

The packaging it arrived in was extremely safe with a minor exception to the Original Box haven't been punctured by the spigot of the glass container. The Original Box had the instructions written on it for Care Instruction, Information about the Company, Brewing Instructions, and Cleaning Instructions. The Material of Glass is excellent, high-quality work - my only gripe is that you can break it easily by accidentally hitting it against a rough object. I'd recommend coating it with a layer of plastic or epoxy on the outside to add a smooth, glossy finish, and protect the glass, while not affecting the taste or health of any people drinking the coffee. This additional layer would prevent breakage to a significant degree and reduce returns and replacements, and improve buyer satisfaction! The Mesh Filter has to be the best part of this entire product - it allows for an easy-to-use coffee making process, an extremely easy cleanup, and the ability to make, both, Quick Coffee and Strong Coffee. This reason this is such a nice feature is because I work and my Coffee might run low, so I'd want Fast Coffee - to get my butt up in the morning, AND I'd like to enjoy life's pleasures with a Stronger Brew (3 Day Brew Time Preferred). The manner in which this filter and glass container was designed allows me to do just that! It's perfect! Lastly, another gripe would be the spigot. There appears to be a pressurization issue. First off, my fridge is an Old Fashioned Box Fridge (Freezer on Top, Fridge on Bottom - Square Design), so utilizing the spigot is a bit difficult as I have to get on my knees or take the container out completely. Secondly, the spigot won't run with the lid sealed and closed tightly. It drains for half a second, then stops, then I wait a minute, and it drains, then stops (we're talking some 1 Tablespoon per drainage). I realized that I have to loosen the lid to allow the proper flow of oxygen through the spigot to provide pressure when draining the Coffee - this allows a smooth flow with no hitches. The requirement to loosen the lid is a tad bit inconvenient, but overall, still an acceptable flaw, in my opinion. Overall, I'd give this product a 4.5 / 5 Stars!

Update 3/8/26:can't believe how much these went up in price, I paid $18.99 in 2023. Mine is still going strong, no issues, still making cold brews, I keep it clean and take care of it, and that's why it lasts. Prior review: I saw all the issues and was prepared to return if needed but mine is good: no lid issues, glass is good, filter hasn’t fallen apart. My metal lid until now looks brand new. The filter mesh part does seem a little fragile so I’d be gentle with it but I’ve had no issues. The glass is solid , I clean inside and out after each brew and no issues so far. The spigot is also a little fragile but so far no issues. You have to be gentle with this to get the most mileage out of it. If you’re handy there’s replacement spigots or filters to keep it going.

Overall this is a good product with a simple design and makes it easy for 1-2 week supply of cold brew. I love that I can prep the coffee in less than 3 minutes and 24 hours later ill have a 1-2 week supply. I have a couple of design improvement ideas though, First the tap should be lower to the bottom of the jar, there is a lot of coffee that doesn't reach tap level so you have to til the container to get the last bit of coffee out, Second I would like there to be a measurment scale on the side at the very least mark the 1 gallon point if not a full scale with 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 that way you don't have to guess where the gallon mark is. I ended up measuring out a gallon of water with measuring cups and than used a marker to mark the point on the jar. Third and MOST IMPORTANT: The lid is definetly not air tight, there is no seal in the lid so this is kind of a false description of the product. I am sure it will still keep the coffee fresh for a while even without the seal, but adding a seal will keep it fresher longer and also thats what the product is advertised as. OVERALL: Good product, make these changes and it would recieve 5 stars. Coffee to water ratio: The golden rule is 2 tbsp per 6 oz of water so I came to the conclusion of 2.5 cups of coffee to 1 gallon of water. (if u want it less strong add less if you want it stronger add more its simple)

I just received this item, and wanted to provide an initial review. The product itself is pretty simple, but, I think very well done. The mesh filter seems well constructed, though I believe careful handling will be required to avoid damaging the crimped ring that holds the bottom of the filter to the main body. The use of stainless steel for the cap is great, vs. trying to re-use standard construction ball jar lids or plastics that would not hold up the same. Assuming the valve holds up, I expect to get very long use out of this well constructed product. Once I see this in use for a bit, I intend to buy a second one. It's currently brewing the first batch, but I don't see any way it can go wrong as a result of the product itself, only errors by the brewer. One slightly negative aspect though. There is a card included in the box, directing the buyer to text a number in order to get Use/Care instructions. It also offers a free 12oz bag of cold brew grounds for doing this. Instead, when you text, you get a link to a survey that says you'll be entered to "win" a 12oz bag of grounds, with you, the customer, paying the shipping. They should just be putting a link to the instructions in the box on this card, not trying to trick the buyer into completing a survey for a chance to win with shipping at our expense, when the card says clearly "Get a free bag".

I dont give many products 5 stars, because, frankly, they dont deserve 5 stars. However, The Original Cold Brew on Tap Cold Brew Coffee Maker by Willow & Everett is the exception. I am a big time coffee drinker. Not just daily, but multiple times throughout the day. I never tried cold brew coffee until I bought this coffee maker. Now it's all I drink all day, every day! This unit is easy to use, easy to clean, makes ice cold, smooth tasting, easy on the stomach, cold brew coffee. The coffee lasts at least a week in my house and then some. Plenty of coffee for me and some to share! Also, I have found the magic combination of coffee to water ratio that makes plenty of coffee concentrate. * Add 3 CUPS OF GROUND COFFEE to the strainer and then fill with water. I let it sit for at least 24 hours and sometimes 48. I then fill a glass with 1/2 - 2/3 of coffee and the rest with water. 1/2 coffee and 1/2 water makes a glass very bold and flavorful glass of coffee! If you like cold brew but not the cold brew price, this is for you! 5 Stars!

but when I went to order another one yesterday, they were out of stock! No! No! LONG REVIEW: Just ignore anyone who struggled with this system. You can train your monkey to use this! Take the screw-on lid off (yes, it screws on so is nice and tight), put coarse ground coffee in the study, metal mesh filter inside the glass jar, pour water over the coffee grounds, screw the lid back on, sit it in the fridge and wait 24 hours for delicious cold brew! This company texted me to see if I got the order, did I like it, and sent instructions and recipes. The glass jar is sturdy (not easily broken) and has a built-in spout that is tight and does not leak. Yes, it sits above the very bottom of the jar so as to not pick up the tiny bits that squeeze through the filter. When the coffee is below the spout, you can tilt the jar, or pour the remaining coffee into another container, then throw the small bit of remaining coffee and sludge away. Thank you Willow and Everett for making my first cold coffee brewing experience a delightful and tasty one! Keep 'em coming as I have a few other people that I want to bless with such an excellent system. SHORT REVIEW: Buy it. It's well made and works as advertised.

Great idea, very easy to use, but a couple fundamental design flaws. Firstly, the lid came off in my hand after i had filled the container up, and was transporting it to the fridge. I was shocked that the container didn't break. WARNING: ALWAYS TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH TWO HANDS, ONE ON BOTTOM, ONE HOLDING TOP OF JAR OVER LID. The threads are inadequate to support the weight of a full jar. Secondly, the bottom of the stainless steel filter has come loose on both of these that i owned. I returned the first one because of this reason. Same thing happened with the second one (not sure why i didn't return this one. Other than that, this thing is great! Very convenient, and easy to use. The spigot works great. Just fix the filter, and lid thread issues, and you'll have a solid product.

I love this! It is a great cold brew maker and I can tell it will last. If you ground coffee and let it sit overnight the coldbrew turns out amazing. The filter is also super nice and dosnt leak coffee grounds into the coffee. It just enough coffee for 2-3 people for about 2 days and it’s easy to remake. It’s not messy and the dispenser thingy works really well. It’s also very affordable for a good product

Mein Bruder hat es zu Weihnachten bekommen. Er macht darin seinen Cold Brew Kaffee (?). Ich habe keine Ahnung davon, aber er ist super zufrieden. Der Hahn tropft nicht und die Füllmenge ist für ihn optimal. Gerne wieder.

Seems well made, has been used a few times and no issues with it at all.

So ya there was some kind of stain under the lid like everyone said but I just cleaned it the best I could and it never went away but...it seemed to not wipe off after I cleaned it so I didn't worry about it. The filter is very fine so be gentle with it, but I like it over all. Also make sure the tap is right and closed before you fill it with water.
