A good supplementary front light, great rear light. Not really suitable for unlit tracks.
I bought this as my Cree light has been showing signs of wear - rubber buttons wearing down, battery pack not holding charge for long, etc. I thought I would give this a shot as I wanted to see how a USB light in this price range would do.The not-so-great stuff:The front light is only 300 lumens at full beam. I have used it to go along unlit tracks that I know well. It just isn't powerful enough for me, so I had to take it a lot easier than normal. Not impossible, but not really practical in that situation. It'll not last for hours on end, maybe up to a couple of hours at full tilt, but that's pushing it. In the cold it drains a bit quicker, but don't all lights? That goes for the rear lights too. The front light button will flash a different colour before that happens, but when it does, you don't have much time left.- It was a bit of a struggle to fit my handlebars. The fitting is a bit too small for comfort, but I got it on and I don't plan on taking it off.- The small rubber USB port cover on the rear light itself is a bit flimsy and soft, so it takes a bit of encouragement to put. I reckon it could be easily lost, but it's not a major issue. The good bits:- Three levels of beam and a flashing mode- The front light swivels left and right easily in it holder. I use this to help light up a wider area on unlit tracks in conjunction with my brighter Cree light , or in flash mode to light up pavements and reflect off of parked cars to give cars coming up behind me a chance to judge their distance to me. Also, it warns anyone in parked cars that I am passing by soon.- The rear light is really good. Better and much brighter than the old Cateye light that I used to have before it fell off - and that cost a lot more! It has three levels of solid light, a strobe effect, and a flash mode on full which I prefer. It also has a clear strip around the light which gives decent side visibility to oncoming cars as well. This rear light is the reason that I give it that fourth star.- These lights are easy to charge. The front has a flashing light on the button as it charges. When it's a solid light, it's fully charged. The rear light is slightly different. It has a solid red light as it charges that turns off when it is done. I haven't timed it, but I would reckon they take around an hour or so to charge. I top up from my laptop, or plug them in while I am at work as I don't want to take any chances - given the rather sketchy time it holds a charge for. It's not a major inconvenience to do it though.- Around town at night, the flashing mode lights up reflective road signs very well, maybe up to 150 metres away -certainly 100 metres at least. So, all in all, this would be a good set of lights for someone who has an everyday commute around a city-centre and surrounding areas. Using the flash mode lasts longer, and is more effective in these situations. As I say, for anything else, the front light is a supplementary light for a brighter main light, and it could get you out of trouble if that light should give up. Don't be expecting a Bat-Signal though.

Very bright, feels solid and secure on the handle bars
The light is very bright, brighter than I had expected. As size isn't an issue for me this is perfect. Rear light is also very powerful, have been riding with it for 3 nights now and has not yet needed a charge, so battery seems good.at the moment, I am very happy for less then £15!

Excellent bicycle lights - very bright
I got this one instead of the other available lights because the front light can be fixed to the handlebar very tightly. The other ones are fixed by rubber and I had trouble getting the light straight and it was bouncing around. Now with this, I don't have a problem. Very bright and lovely lights

Convienient to Use.
For the cost these are very effective lights. Very quick and easy to take off compared to my current ones. We have also used the front light as a torch into the garden as the light is shown to quite some distance. The rear light is good enough to be seen with.

Stopped working after first day of use and one of the cables is broken.
The front light stopped working properly after the first day of use. Even after charging it for the whole night, it was shining 10 times dimmer than the first day of use - it can be seen in the picture how dim the brightest setting was. One of the power cables also came with a broken plastic cover and the USB metal plug was deformed and didn't fit into the PC USB hole. In addition, the turn-on/turn-off button broke after a couple of weeks of usage and the seller tried to bribe me for deleting the amazon review

BRIGHT
Best light set out there. Battery life is long with quick charge. Plenty of choice in settings. First night out two drivers said they were too bright in the city, but I was seen! Other cyclist loved them as reflected well off there 3m reflective tape. You could always reduce the lumens in the settings, but in full mode you will be seen on the dark nights. Only downside careful with front clip, broke one being a little heavy handed, but set comes with a spare

Both front and back lights should work with good light. They Don't!!!!!
Front light dull at full power!Rear light NOT working!!! Comes on for a few seconds then cuts off repeatedly! Battery fully charged on both lights. Don't buy. This has been a disappointing purchase.Cost of return from Ireland would outweigh purchase price.Unhappy customer.K.P.
