EZArtificial Christmas Tree Stand #119

Purchased this in 2015 as my original stand broke. Description says it accommodates a 1.25" diameter pole, which is what my tree has (according to the description on the box my tree came in from the manufacturer). Unfortunately, something doesn't fit quite right. When I put the plastic piece around the pole of the tree and then try to put the pole into the hole on the base, it won't fit. So, for the last 2 seasons, we adjusted - putting that piece on upside down so that it sticks above the hole in the base but is still screwed down (couldn't use at all without screwing that plastic piece down in some direction). Unfortunately, since everything, except the screws is plastic, this season my tree started leaning and I am, again, needing to purchase a replacement tree stand.

I see many people stating this stand fits their artificial tree. I have a brand new 6 foot tree we purchased at K-mart. The stand that came with it appeared flimsy since I have 2 kittens who are only 8 months old. I wanted something wider and more sturdy. The base of my tree is smaller than the opening and looks much like the one shown in the picture. There are no other instructions that explain how to make it fit tighter on a smaller pole and so I put the tree back in original stand. I was so hoping this would have worked.

Even though I measured my tree ahead of time, the hole on the base was still too large and the tree was leaning. My son got a piece of pvc pipe and inserted it in the base and then we were able to use it. It would be helpful if this came with different sized inserts for the base to accommodate a variety of pole sizes.

Not a product issue. Very well-made & great price. I bought this hoping to use it with my artificial Christmas tree but it was too big for the area where I set up my tree. I gave it to a friend & she loved it. Held up her tree just fine.

We got this stand as a replacement for our artificial tree - we wanted a tree collar instead of a tree skirt, and the one that came with our tree was too wide. This did the trick, and was just narrow enough to fit! Our tree is right at 7.5' and it fits perfectly. You do need a tree that's pole is *exactly* 1.25" in diameter - there's no wiggle room, it's exact.

Had lost one of the original legs for the artificial tree. It's a good sturdy replacement. Will not be easy to lose.

Easy to set up, use, clean and is very durable.

After 8 years, my artificial tree finally cracked. The 3 little pieces that made up the built-in stand just broke off. So I was out of a Xmas tree on Dec 5. Not knowing they made artificial tree stands, I searched the internet for a regular tree stand that might accommodate an artif tree pole. I thought I could just adjust a reg tree stand to hold the pole so I almost bought a universal tree stand. Then I came across this EZ ARTIFICIAL TREE STAND #119. I measured my tree pole (1.5 inches diameter) & it fit the stand so I ordered it. Its my best buy of the year: fits my (Wal-Mart) artif tree perfectly & I believe the tree is actually more stable with this stand then with its orig built-in stand (I have cats, so Im very pleased.)As other reviewers have mentioned, the stand directions are on the backside of the label so be careful when you peel it off. All you need to do is put your tree pole in the little hole adapter piece & screw it into the tree stand, easy.So if you have an artif tree (with a 1.5 pole diameter), do yourself a favor & buy this stand, youll need it sooner or later.
