These lights work perfectly for my application. They are flexible enough that I can position them where I need them, but strong enough that they do not say or move from the spot where I place them. Lights are bright, and the coverage is good. The timer function is OK, but if you lose power of unplug it for any reason, you have to reset the timer. The biggest problem with that is, say you want it to operate 6 am - 6 pm. Well you have to be at the timer at 6 am to set it. Small problem overall though. This is a very good value.

I did my research of what was available & what I wanted and decided on this light - it was not the cheapest but my goal was quality / function over finding the cheapest one.I purchased one to make sure I liked the size, quality etc. As soon as I got it I ordered two more (one more for the succulents and one for me).It is nice and sturdy and does not feel cheap. It was easy to pull out of the package and plug right in. The necks move really well and I feel the length gives me a good range.It did notice I felt really good when I was sitting beside the lamp so I did my research to compare my much more expensive SAD spotlight and found that these are actually safe to use and give me the full benefits.Based on the pic I was expecting a more purple light but was delighted to see it is really pink.I have no idea of how much it speeds up propagation or color of succulents (b/c I have never had them before) but based on research and the experts in my group they say this will dramatically help with propagation plus make the plants quite happy. Apparently to really bring out all of those pretty shades in succulents proper sunlight is the secret.

Update 2/20/19-This light is awesome! My succulents are doing great and have been growing like crazy! Even a little tree i planted sprouted new growth in 2 days after being under the light, highly recomend!Aside from the flexible arms that hold they lights not being very strong in holding position, these work great! I got the light for a desert planted terrarium for some beetles and i just recieved the plants today, so i will update how well it helps them grow in the future! The settings are easy to figure out and i like the brightness, color options, and timer options! I just used plastic string from walmart's craft area, but a person could use yarn to hold the metal arms in place. Would have been 5 stars if the arms were stronger :)

This works really well. I use it on a dracaena compacta and a peace lily in a room with little natural light. They both are absolutely thriving. The auto-on, timer, and setting adjustments are all really well done and unexpected at price point. The only downside i've found is the clamp. It's hard to find things to clamp it to and the adjustable neck pieces wont always stay put without some jimmying. Still very happy with it since it works well and the functions outweigh the con of the meh clamp.

I have no idea why the chosen plugin for this product was a USB adapter rather than just being a wall plug, but mine got bent rather easily after knocking the surge protector it was attached to over and required more and more finnicky placement to turn on until breaking entirely.The USB connector gets VERY hot with extended use, the insert itself was EXTREMELY brittle once it finally fell apart for good, actually crumbling in my fingers. The adapter was hardly in better shape, the white of the port was yellowed and brittle, and the circuit board inside was darkened from heat.It only lasted me one year, but up until that point it was admittedly working quite well, so there's some credit due at least for that. Hence the three stars. Plus I'm not against the idea that I contributed to its short lifespan with my excessive light needs, so I can't entirely blame the product.

I have tried and failed to be a good plant mom but time and time again I have lost all the plant babies, even the lowest maintenance low light plants all the websites claim you can't kill. When my most recent round of house plants inevitably started to look frail and sad, I tried everything I could to revive them. Rotating to new windows failed. Bringing them outside for hours a day failed. So I decided to purchase this grow light as a last attempt to redeem myself. After just 3 days under the lamp my plants have sprung back to full health! Leaves that were once wilting and browning are strong and greener than ever. The red light is very bright and casts a pink glow into whatever room it's in when its on, similar to a neon sign. To avoid having to sit in a pink room, I just use the built in timer and turn it on before going to bed, and by the time I get up in the morning, the lamp has turned itself off, and the plants are happy and busy photosynthesizing for the day. Fantastic value, will most likely buy more!

I have a rose bush in a large planter that got moved to my basement when the warm weather ended. It developed new growth, but was pale and white looking. So I decided to get this light to help it out. After just a few days it has turned to a beautiful, natural green and can even see some new blossoms starting to grow! The option for blue light, or red light, or both simultaneously is great, as is the clip to attach it anywhere . Also a big fan of the timer, for on/off.Overall, very happy with this lamp!
