I have used this product for years. I have several where the plastic holder is broken. Can I buy the plastic holder only?

I've never seen that option. Nor have I seen the option of just buying the bars. So not sure why you would need this? You could just put the bars into a mesh bag and hang from your closet rod. I do hate the idea of tossing/recycling the holders each time, so it would be great to be able to simply buy new bars only and place them in existing holders. Once, I could not find any bars available, so I bought the moth balls and placed them into the holders I was about to throw out. I realize this is not the answer you were looking for, but just some thoughts to share.

Is this product naphthalene/1,4-dichlorobenzene -based? Despite its cedar scent, it is not a cedar wood-based product, is it? Thanks.

I'm glad you asked that question --- it reminded to replace mine in the closet. No, it is not a cedar wood product. According to the package, it is 99.68% p-dichlorobenzine. Which probably means that the moths die of cancer.
