I ordered size small for my 5 lbs Maltese and it fits her perfectly. The fabric doesn't stretch at all, so if your dog is between sizes, get the larger size.

This was one of the easiest and cutest costumes we've done for Sophie (dog: Maltese: 9yrs old: 7lbs: 11in chest circumference).Most of her costumes have had some unreasonable facet to them, be it a tutu, glitter, a train... lol. This yukata and faux obi were adorable, and she seemed very comfortable in the outfit. She wore it all evening.The sizing on this is a little odd, I'm guessing that's because 1) it's cotton so there's no give, and 2) it's trying to be cut like an actual yukata which is all rectangular. On Sophie, that meant that we needed to keep the last button open. It didn't affect the wearability at all though.Would definitely recommend. Sophie looked like she'd stepped out of the summer festival episode of a high school anime. :)

Received today. Quick shipping. I have an 8lb Chiweenie so I ordered the Large based on the other reviews and it fits comfortably with a little room. My dog is longer of course so I went with the large. This dress runs Very small, usually, my dog is a small/med, however, this Large fits like a Med so I suggest whatever your dogs size, go up one to guarantee the fit. The medium is great if your dog is under 8lbs and without the length. My furry baby needed the belly room lol lol. The Cutest dress ever and I'm sure will get A lot of oooh's and ahhhh's when were out-n-about. I Will update with pics later. Awesome purchase. Ordering a second in an additional color.

Absolutely adorable. I love it my cat loves it fits her perfectly but does not stretch and be careful it's easy to rip. But still freaking adorable
