Wonderfil DecoBob Cottonized Polyester Thread, 80 Weight, 2187 Yards (DBL104 White)

Using for English paper piecing. So nice and smooth going through the fabric. My stitches aren’t showing at all.

I would encourage any using this thread to watch the You Tube video on Wonderfil Threads (they have a channel). It will suggest needle sizes, tension and thread pairing setups.For my project, I used this Decobob in top and bottom to quilt a baby quilt as well as put on the binding. I use Microtex needles. I had to adjust top and bottom tension slightly on my machine. Once property adjusted it performed flawlessly. No breakage and the stitch is finely executed. It is a very fine, very strong thread.I'm lazy and I machine bind. This thread provides a very fine stitch that offers security and does not call attention to itself. I plan to piece using this thread. I will also note that there were no ill effects from a hot iron.I normally use Aurofil, but I will very much enjoy using and reordering this thread. I could not be more pleased.Some were surprised by the size of the spool. Because it is 8o wt v. 50 it will be smaller due to finer thread. Always check the length (and make conversions as necessary) to compare to other thread.

This is a fine polyester quilting thread used for foundation paper piecing. Since this is my first quilt, I’m not an expert on judging thread, but it seems to be working great. Because the thread is finer, it is easier to remove the paper when you are finished.

This is cheap single ply polyester. Fishing line quality. I use deco bob and this isn't it.

Very nice and fine thread used in my sit-down long arm Capri quilt machine. Strong and resisted shredding. Also can use for bobbins.

Wonderful Decobob thread is perfect for my Viking Opal series machine. I used it for free motion quilting. No breaking or shredding. 👍

Great quality.. just thought I was purchasing a larger spool 6500 yards..was surprised it was the smaller size
