work great on knits too
ok, I changed my mind; always thought the spendy schm... brand was the best. now I find these needles to be less expensive, not as fragile, easier to thread and surprisingly, sew smoothly thru wovens and knits with no skipping. this 90/14 size fits my 50yr old machine and is the trouble-free size for most any project. (am 76, sewing has been my beloved hobby for 60yrs)

Needles all one size
Able to buy needles of all one size, the size I most often sew with. If bought local you almost always have to buy a package with mixed sized needles with just a few of the size you’d want, leaving you with the rest of unwanted size needles in your sewing basket
