Genuine Fred PASTASAURUS Pasta Server

While purchasing this as a gift, I noticed I had bought this for our kitchen 12 years ago. 12 years! We have a pasta dish at least 3x/week, and it’s also used to get boiled eggs out of the pan most mornings—so this little guy has seen a LOT of meals. Still looks brand new! 100% worth every penny!

Bought this in 2017 and 7 years later, Pasta-saurus is still going strong! It may be plastic, but it’s actually pretty sturdy and durable. Recommend for any fellow dino lovers out there. It’s a fun addition to your kitchen.

Of all the decorative/fun kitchen utensils I've purchased, this is my favorite. It's actually sturdy, properly sized, and does the job that it's supposed to do. Plus come on! It's a Pastasaurus!Update - I purchased this back in June 2015. It is now September 2016. Time for an update! The pictures posted with this review were taken in Sept 2016, but I have to admit that this thing looks exactly the same as it did when I ordered it. I like to follow up on items that impress me after a great deal of use, and this is one of those items. We have affectionately named ours "Phteven," and he's part of the family now. Absolutely no signs of wear or staining after probably a hundred uses - getting pasta out of boiling water, scooping pasta that's been mixed with tomato-based sauce, using as a substitute for just about anything that requires a slotted spoon, and dozens of trips through the dishwasher.I hope that this helps someone out there combing through reviews. Pastasaurus has been my faithful pasta cooking companion since June 2014 and he looks as young as the day I got him. His teeth haven’t dulled and his color is still vibrant. I love being greeted by his toothy grin at meal times. We’ve boiled through a lot of pasta together too. Penne, rigatoni, fusilli, vermicelli - you name it, we’ve boiled it. We’ve also splashed through a rainbow of sauces, tomato based, cream based, oil based, and he cleans up very well every time. Bonus, he’s a great hiding spot for Easter eggs!

A fun gift idea for newlyweds or someone just starting out on their own, this little tool is actually useful for scooping up hot spaghetti, noodles, linguini, etc... The handle shape and the angle were well thought out, and the utensil is made for heavy duty action. The bright color is easily located because it stands out in a drawer full of other utensils. Aside from all that, it is just so darn cute! You can find so many fun gadgets for your own kitchen from FRED & FRIENDS.

This is a super fun ladle. I would say the shape is a little strange to use on the regular but I love it and it looks great in the utensil holder!

Fits the bill. Scoops the pasta. So much yum has been delivered from the raging maw of this wonderful product. Rawr, indeed!
