Neewer Dimmable 176 LED Video Light 5600K on Camera Light Panel Compatible with Canon Nikon Pentax Panasonic Sony and Other Digital SLR Cameras for Photography

A couple of weeks ago I had to record a series of interviews with presenters at a conference - on an iPhone. Done properly I knew I could get good results, but when an iPhone pushes the ISO, the video quality really drops. And as I was going to be indoors filming in poor light I wanted to use a small, portable LED panel. I have a couple of large-ish, heavy-ish, but very bright Yungnuo panels, which are great when used on lighting stands, but just too big and heavy to use with an iPhone. I’d just bought the iPhone rig from Neewer when I saw this really inexpensive, small, light-weight LED panel. The price, including a battery, was great so I thought I’d take a chance on it - especially given the number of very positive reviews. And I’m very glad I did. The panel itself is small and slips easily in a camera bag. But despite its diminutive size, it’s ridiculously bright, but easy to control using a rotary dial on the back of the light. For my interviews I was about 3 feet away from the subjects and didn’t ever exceed 30% power (above this level I got hot spots on the skin). At around 30% power, I had well illuminated subjects and captured crisp footage. The one thing that lets the package down a bit is the cold shoe mount. It’s pretty cheap plastic and I struggled to get the light firmly attached to the cold shoe on my rig - no matter how much I tightened the locking wheel on the cold shoe, there was a lot of horizontal play in the light. However, this was easily corrected by swapping it for a Smallrig mini ball head mount. And given how inexpensive this package is, it’s a really minor gripe. Overall, a very inexpensive light that’s easy to use and incredibly bright. Highly recommended.

Perfect for taking pictures and content.

The Neewer LED light has been a great addition to my setup! It’s compact and lightweight, making it really easy to carry around for shoots on the go. Despite its small size, it’s incredibly bright, with adjustable settings that give me a lot of versatility depending on the lighting I need. It’s perfect for everything from close-up shots to filling a room with light. A few small drawbacks: the battery drains quickly if you’re using it at full brightness, so I wish it came with a power cable for longer use without having to worry about recharging. It also gets a bit warm after being on for a while, which hasn’t caused any issues, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, though, it’s powerful, portable, and offers great lighting control, all at a solid price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile, easy-to-transport light!

I bought one of these lights for filming on a desktop. I wasn't expecting much...but what a surprise! These lights are VERY bright, far exceeding my expectations. There is a control on the back to vary the brightness from 10 to 99 which is needed. Due to the auto exposure in the camera it is not possible to show how bright these lights are. A warm light diffuser and a plain diffuser are included and depending on which version you buy, an NP-F550 battery and charger. The light also supports a 6.5V to 17V DC input jack. One thoughtful touch is briefly pressing the power on button (combined with the rotary brightness control) shows the battery level on the rear panel display - a fully charged battery showing "99". It was so good, I bought another. They're very good value for money, especially if you already have one or more spare batteries and they're nicely made.

I bought this to use with my camera when I'm shooting video. It was a lot cheaper than some of the other options I looked at and came with everything I needed, rather than things like the charger being an extra cost, so I thought it was worth a try. I'm far from a professional photographer, but it seems really good to me: the brightness is excellent (I haven't needed it at more than 50% so far), battery life seems good and the filters work nicely. My only criticism would be that I had to do a bit of filing to get it to fit easily into the hotshoe adaptor on my camera, but it only took me about 20 minutes, if that. All in all I'm very happy with it, and the quality of my videos is greatly improved :)

This seemed to be a great little video light for the money but the little wheel which should move the hot shoe connector just seized and no amount of tweaking would move it. Sadly, I had to return the item as it was rendered useless by this fault.

Given that the cost wasn’t huge, I wasn’t expecting much from this light. I was pleasantly surprised. I bought this last minute before a wedding shoot the next day to supplement my speed light for photography. At full power, the light if anything was too bright, but there is a dimmer switch that you can use to control the brightness. There are no other controls such as changing the Kelvin temperature, but all that can be manipulated afterwards in post-processing software. I shot with it for some of the day shots and all through the evening’s reception and the battery was still over half capacity. Incredible really. I mounted it on the hotshot of my camera and didn’t notice the increase in weight. If anything, it provided me with greater stability. Would highly recommend.

Easy to use and very controllable. Battery is not included and will add to you overall costs but it definitely does what is says on the tin.

This lamp is very good!! because is no too big and no too small so I can take it anywhere, also what i love is that this lamp you can charge and because I don't used frequently I can say this can remain charged for more than three days.

I'm new to making videos, so I don't have any basis of comparison here, but I like this little light. It's quite bright and I like that I can attach it right to my camera. I somehow didn't notice that the "warm light" it can do is from an orange filter you slap on the front, not from half the bulbs being warm and half the bulbs being cool (which is how my bigger Neewer lights are constructed). I like this, though. I only use the cooler temperature of light, and ALL the bulbs being cool-toned means the light is brighter than I had calculated it would be. It does gradually get dimmer as the batteries run out of power, so that's something to be aware of. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me at one point because I had the light turned all the way up and it wasn't as bright as I remembered it being when I filmed a bunch of stuff the day before.

Nie podoba mi się lampa bo jej nie mogę odpalić bez baterii. Pisałem już skargi ale bez odzewu.

Rotule de fixation un peu fragile, à voir solidité dans le temps Très bon rapport qualité-prix
