I guess I can try using these to hang pants, if the opportunity pops up. But right now I am using these clips to hold up some shades in my windows. They are paper shades that manually accordion open and closed, but the light clips that came with them aren't doing the job. These clips are stronger, but not so big that they stand out. They are working great for the purpose. I can think of a lot of ways of using these other than as pants hangers!

I am using these as a clips to hold shoes together in my closet. My shoes kept losing their partner and then I'd have to go on a search to find the other shoe. These clips are strong enough to hold the shoes -- but not too strong to do damage. I love them!

I use these to clip many things! From a pile of important papers, to chip bags, they work great!

I bought these for baby hangers to hang pants and shirt together. Even though the baby hangers are smaller, they’re not thin enough to prevent the inner clip from cracking when you push them complete onto the hanger. Once it cracks, you can’t use it. These would probably be fine on the flat thinner velvet hangers, but not so good for plastic ones.

I ordered these clips to keep my pool patio curtains closed. They worked beautifully. Thicker than I expected, they held my curtains together when the wind tended to blow them apart. I love them.Carla from Florida

I was definitely a little disappointed when this product did not fit on my hangers. I do still used them in the kitchen to close bags of chips, crackers or cereal bags which works great. But the original purpose was to hang bottoms on a hanger and for that, it is horrible. I have regular plastic hangers and they are to small to clip on it.
