It works
I put this on a mini spray booth so I can airbrush models in the house without being yelled atby the wife. I am amazed at how good it works. There is “no” smell at all.

Smell eliminated!!
It doesnt have a reversible flange for anyone wondering. However this is my filter of choice from now on. I've tried over 10 different filters to get rid of my smell from my grow tent. My first filter was an apollo 4 in and it worked great. Then I couldnt find them anymore so i switched to an ambargelli or however you spell it. They're garbage. Let smell through quote a bit. Tried an ipower same thing. Got to the point I thought I had leaks in my ventilation system. Switched to all PVC tubing and bought another ambargelli....same damn thing. I literally tried 10 different brand filters in the 30 to 80 dollar range and all of them let smell through to the point I would come home from work and could smell it walking in the door. Seen the ac infinity and decided to give it a shot expecting the same results. Hooked it up and within a minute ALL smell was eliminated!!! I couldn't believe it. It confirmed my suspicions of filters not doing their job. This filter is well built and the main thing is it works. I've been running it for a week now and have zero smell even standing right ouside of my grow area. Now I'm just hoping they stock more as I went back to buy a backup and it's not available. Do yourself a favor and dont mess around buying any other filter. If you can find it in stock buy this one. Trust me I've been through the headaches of trying to eliminate unwanted smells and this thing finally did the job

using this to filter air in a cat box
using this to filter air in a cat box, drawing air through it with a 120mm computer fan. completely eliminated cat odor, amazing. Seems to induce very little back pressure.

Another AC Infinity product I'm happy with..
I have what is essentially a grow tent, except I don't grow anything in it and sleep in it instead.Because the air in there automatically gets thick n' clammy (like a good chowder), I bought an AC Infinity.. uhh.. T series? S series? The one that HAS the electronic control stuff-- inline fan. I also bought some of their ducting, and then used some generic 4" bits and pieces to make stuff work to pump fresh are into my sleeping pod. However, I noticed that I was waking up, kind of often, with a pretty bad smell in my nose. Sometimes, I'd know what it was, other times not, but I bought one of these filters for the intake side, and I'm able to draw in air from my room and give it a nice fresh non-scent. It hasn't messed with airflow too, too terribly, and I am still able to pick up air conditioned air when I want it by placing the filter at the outflowing vent of my AC.The first day or two, the non-smell in my room (basically, a smell unto itself-- almost sweet) was intoxicating. I also noticed-- as dumb as this will sound-- that the air felt smooth, as though it was almost too easy to breathe.Long story short, I'm very pleased, continue to be impressed with AC Infinity (I have a few of their hobby/kit fans, also) and find all their stuff well worth the money.

Highest Quality - Cat Tested?!?
These are worth the extra cost - much better than all the budget options. The Quality is noticibly higher than the others I have used. The budget options often leak air where the gaket and duct fitting meet up. The pre-filters are much better too and include 2 per filter so you can change it half way. Also includes two straps to mount inside your tent if thats your use. These are also excellent filters for cat rooms and litter boxes to keep the oder under control.
