FTCE Professional Education Teacher Certification Study Guide Test Prep Third Edition, Revised

I have studied for two other tests with similar books and had no problem, passed the first time. Not this book. I sat down to take my test with confidence and soon realized that about 60% of the test was not covered in this book. I did not pass this test and I wasted my time and money, now I have to take it again! I am left embarrassed and angry. I got a new book and just flipping through it I instantly noticed topics from the test (that was not mentioned in this book) I am not sure if this book is outdated or just lacks a lot of the necessary information in order to pass.

This book is all over the place. Mentions Piaget but then doesn't go on to list what I should remember about his stages of developement. Also mentions different methods but doesn't go on to explain what they are. Not good for someone who left teaching a while ago and needs a refresher. It was like that throughout the book. I'm going to order a different one to see if it's any better.

Great study aid to Grandson for preparing for his certification test. We are looking forward to having our latest teacher into the family when he completes the certification test.

The text is simple and very easy to study from. I would recommend purchasing this text to future educators whom need to pass the Professional Exam.

This was gift I sent to my neighbor. I guess it was what she needed because she passed her tests to become a teacher!

Very thorough book and practice tests. The explanations and reviews are very helpful and clearly stated within the text pages.
