Men's ATAC 2.0 8" Military Tactical Boot, Style 12391, Black

I work in a tough factory environment. It's cold, lots of steel/metal equipment to stub my toe on, lots of people to step on your feet, and it can get really wet really fast. I desperately needed to replace my previous work shoes because water went right through them and they were falling apart. I had to get something else and after quite a bit of searching a review reading, I found these boots. I bought them, worried of the quality because of how expensive they were. I can say, I'm really happy. These shoes are worth the money. The shoes are breathable but still warm, they have a tough toe to protect my feet from hits from metal equipment, they keep water out, they have a gripping sole to prevent me from slipping and these boots tie on tight so they don't slide off my feet during work. These shoes were everything I wanted, and on top of that, they're stylish, cool, and the color I wanted. These have worked perfectly for me so far and I'm pleased. They were worth the money and I'll definitely be buying more. Also, side note... The shoes are also easy to clean and wipe off. Just one wet wipe and most dirt and grime is gone. Good for keeping the shoes nice and new looking for as long as possible! The shoes are a little uncomfortable at first but once they're broken in and once I got used to moving around with them on, they were nice and snug. I'm glad I won't be coming home with wet socks anymore!

FEEL These feel both study and supple, chunky yet light. The sole's pretty thick: you'll get an extra inch or so in height. SIZE Normally, I take a US9 (EU42) for dress shoes/sneakers and a US10 (EU44) for sports shoes (to accommodate swelling feet). My feet are pretty wide and I've always had sizing difficulties: I have a pair of US9 Campers (comfortable) and some US9.5 Red Wings (too tight). Since boots have ample ankle support, I thought I'd better take the larger size in these. In hindsight, maybe a 9.5 or 9.5W would have been better. While the toe box is not too roomy, the heel is nicely snug and the tall calf gives a lot of support, these are a little too big for an ideal fit. Conclusion: size up half a size from your street shoes (half a size down from your running shoes). Take advantage of the wide version.

I have worn many "tactical" or duty boots over the years, from $400 Danners to $80 Under Armour boots and everything inbetween. I would say for the cost of these boots, usually around $100, they are a very good value. This of course applies only if you have grounded expectations and buy this boot for the appropriate role. This boot is not for border patrol agents out in the field, it won't last under that kind of abuse. Local pd beat cop will have longer life out of them but depending on how active your shifts are I would say 1 - 2 years of service from this boot would be reasonable. I work in law enforcement and wore these boots for 2 years and 9 months almost exclusively while on duty. I have a more laid back role then frontline enforcement so they were not overly abused, in and out of detention facilities, federal prisons, mass air inmate moves, detention vans/buses etc. The boots were comfortable and looked good, very lightweight and solid grip. The last month I wore them the zipper started to rip and fail, which is the only reason I replaced them. They were showing usual wear but I would have probably squeezed another year out of them if the zipper held up. I attached pictures for reference, the pictures are after 2 years and 9 months of service. Overall very happy, would have bought again but I am now trying a higher end 5.11 model the A/T boots side zip boots, I will write a review after I put those ones into retirement too. Also as a side note, the most likely part of your boot to fail will be the side zipper in my experience. Think about your job, do you need to remove your boots multiple times throughout the day? Or do you only take your boots off after your shift? Maybe you don't need a side zipper... your boots will probably last longer.

Bought these right at 2 years ago, I quickly replaced the insoles as those were horrible. Once replacing the insoles the boots were extremely comfortable, reliable and held up quite well in a multitude of situations from hurricane relief, landslides, swift water and lake rescues. They grip well and supported the ankle quite well in all of these environments. They also, with the right insoles, kept my feet comfortable being on them 18+ hours a day some shifts. I would recommend getting 1 size larger than your usual. Build quality is there. They’re still in good operational condition today, 2 years later, but I will be switching to redbacks going forward

The zipper on the side is what makes these my preferred choice of boot. I've owned about 3 pairs of these over the past 10-ish years. They're by far the most comfortable I've worn. They're sort of like house slippers honestly. They do not last as long as I'd like them to, but then again, I'm hard on my boots. PROS: - Very comfortable - They do not require much breaking in - No need to spend 20 minutes lacing them up/adjusting laces because of the zipper - Handles pretty any weather fairly reliably. I would exclude snow and deep water here. - One pair will probably last about 10,000 miles; which for me personally, is two to three years CONS: - Can be difficult to clean - Not water-tight (zipper) - Can be hard to dry out if they get soaked - Insoles wear out first always - Soles will wear down to nothing eventually - Toe leather will inevitably be marred or worn through eventually as well

Der Schuhe sieht gut aus und ist gut verarbeitet nützt aber alles nichts weil er die falsche Größe hat !!!

Muy cómodas, bastante resistentes y permite transpirar el pie.

Es casi cómoda como un tenis, casi. La bota se ve opaca, hay que darles brillo. Sale un poco cara, quizás compraría otra opción antes de volver a comprar esta es cara.
