Black + Blum James The Doorman, Black

Arrived very promptly and is a good strong, yet flexible, material. I bought more than 1 and it works perfectly on my bedroom door which hangs reasonably flush to my carpet. My guest bedroom is sadly not so flush to the carpet so there is a taller gap to be filled and 1 'James' wasn't strong enough to stop it from falling closed. So it's a good thing I accidentally bought a 3rd 'James' and the 2 of them together are strong enough - and it actually looks like it was intentional to have 2 as they are different colours. Something just that little bit different from the usual door stopper, adds a bit of quirky character. Great for use on doors you don't plan to open and close frequently since you do need to bend down to pull them out or put them back in place.

I bought one of these from an actual shop five years ago and I just love it (as I do all Black + Blum stuff). I needed another door stop for a newly-decorated bedroom, so I got myself a second. When not in use as a door stop, it's an ornament. I have no idea why a black rubber door stop should look so funky: it just does.

Love this little man but gutted that he doesn't go further under the door. Would be better for doors with a larger gap underneath

Very cute - larger than the pictures make it seem. But manages to stop heavy door on a tiled floor.

Does the job as long as there is support behind it otherwise it falls over.

Fun and well made but doesn't fit under our doors quite right so a little disappointed.

Great fun door stoppers. Works for every door height. hard wood or carpet. they are sturdy and strong. The material attracts every piece of dust and fluff, but otherwise very good.

James is a perfect gent who holds my door open for as long as required... And he is British... For that reason alone you should buy this door stop.It is fun, durable and produced in Britain, I can't recommend this item highly enough ...
